You support the killing of 190 people in the past week, nearly a third of which were children? And you consider it a proportional response to the killing of 33 people over the course of 20 years?
Or do you think the destruction of 40 schools, 6 hospitals and a refugee camp is a justified response?

The occupied territories of the West Bank and Gazza had previously been annexed by Jordan and Egypt respectively both annexations being condemned by the international community.
It was not until the six day war of 1967 when both these areas were used by Jordan and Egypt to launch their attack on Israel that Israel after winning that war occupied them, to stop a repeat of that action. I condemn the Israeli land grab, and the protests in east Jerusalem against this were justified but who in their right mind back in Gazza then authorises the firing of rockets into Israel knowing from the past what the Israeli response will be.

I don't support any killing of anybody so don't start twisting things.
This war between Israel and its neighbours has been going on for decades with both sides antagonising each other. Both sides need to come to the table but either seem reluctant. I recall them coming together, sorted something out only for another terrorist organisation with an agenda to destroy it.

Of course they were, Hamas want to remove the Israelis from Palestine by any means necessary, they even claim as such. But the fact remains, those rockets didn't kill more because Israel has the defences to protect themselves, one such defence being the Iron Dome. The weapons Hamas have are also ridiculously primitive. The Qassam rockets are made from farming and mining equipment and welded together in sheds, they have no guidance systems, no targeting systems and they can't be aimed. They cost a couple of hundred quid to make and most land in fields/desert or don't explode.
Compare that to Israel. The Biden administration has just approved a $700m+ weapons sale to Israel, in 2019 America sent $3.8b in foreign military aid to Israel. Their air force uses the same type of planes that are in service in the US and UK militaries armed with precision guided bombs and missiles that can level an individual building from 50 miles away. As demonstrated when they destroyed the building housing the Al Jazeera news HQ as well as offices for Associated Press.
When your enemy needs to fire 600 rockets to maybe kill one person, the proportional response is not to bomb hospitals, schools, refugee camps, power stations, media outlets, residential buildings, etc and kill 54 children in one airstrike. That would be akin to America dropping a nuke on Kabul after the 9/11 attacks.

Since last Monday, in just a week, 190 people in Gaza have been killed by Israeli forces, 54 of those being children.
i think those 23k rocket and mortar attacks were designed to kill more than 37....
maybe google doesnt explain that bit.....

Maybe Hamas need to stop trying to hide their HQ, weapons cache etc amongst the population. They don’t care about Palestinian lives.
Firstly, they'd be wiped out in an instant. They're fighting an enemy that is backed and has assistance by the country with arguably the most advanced military in the world.
Secondly, there's physically no where else for them to be. The Gaza strip is the same size as the Isle of Wight and has over 2 million people living there, it's one of the most densely populated places in the world.
Again, regardless of where Hamas have their HQ (or at least where Israel say they do) the Gaza Strip has no Navy, no Air force and no actual military. When your enemy fires hundreds of homemade rockets and you've got a defence system that can intercept 90%-95% of them and those same rockets have killed less than 40 people in 2 decades, the proportional response is not the destruction of hospitals, schools, refugee camps, power stations, media outlets and homes.
Neither side are "the good guys" in this conflict but Israel have gone way way beyond any form of self defence, so far beyond they've committed literal war crimes in recent years under the pretence of defending themselves.
