Today Atletico Baleares sacked their manager and I am glad they’ve sacked Jordi Rogers, the football has been awful this season and terrible results and he totally stripped the previous seasons squads and left us with 2 players from the past Championship winning squads.

We should never of let Mandiola leave, he was a good manager and win Segunda B ( League 3) twice, the fans loved him and he would stay behind and mix with the fans and the team Mandiola had, had a bond with the fans.
Sadly we failed to go up to La Liga 2 on both occasions as we lost in the Champions v Champions play-offs etc.


Jordi Rogers had totally different plans, changed the style of play and the football got worse every game.

Will be very interesting who will be brought in as we are close to relegation and close to the play-0ffs?



I would love a British Coach.

Steve Staunton & Warren Feeney wanted the job before , but got turned down because of language barriers.

The leagues through COVID have been halved from 20 teams to 10 this season.

Looking at the table, it doesn't seem a surprise considering where they've been the last couple of years. Even more so with the reasoning you give, Annis.

Well they need a tough manager and zero tolerance lower league football , both Steve Staunton and Warren Feeney applied before would love one of them or similar type . They are very passionate

And the football dire this season, Ned I have been very lucky to watch 11 games this season in person and after years of always playing exciting football it’s been awful this season.

For the record I went to about 15 games last year and 3 Oxford games.

When I was at Shrewsbury I worked Monday to Friday and volunteered 3 out of 4 Saturday as a first responder. The other Saturday I spent with my wife at the time.

But as you know when I started supporting the city properly from about 1998 I was a regular home and away. I used to see you a lot at away games. I was even at the famous Millwall game when you took three coaches. Getting the tube to that game was the scariest thing I’ve ever done. Not many fans did that.
