Exactly Ian a home crowd of 3,546 v Rochdale.
Funny our first ever season in League 4 and we spent then over the coming years 9 seasons there.
Our first away game ever in League 4 was Hartlepool away and took 600 fans.
Over the next 14 years, we spent 9 seasons in league 4, thankfully I never missed a home or away game watch Cardiff.
Home Crowds as low as 1,400, away support as low 11 ,30 and 50 fans.
So when fans moan today that We've been hard done by, robbed by owners , We had nothing to rob and where we re these fans then????
Where were the fans when we were in the bottom 3 of league 4?
I know every fan that followed City away during those years in League 4 and I know virtually most fans that went home.
And I dont mean those that were not born or were to young to watch a football game![]()
Just at Wimbledons attendance in top flight football 5,000.

We drew the next game 0-0 as well against someone like Mansfield. Happy day but my god we were crap. We deserved some sort of medal for following them.

But we were low from the middle of the 1970’s till the year 2000? Except for Eddie Mays years.
That’s not my point, so many fans who have moaned since the year 2000 and say they were there??????

Annis, my standard answer is ‘if you were there during the Durban era, only then do you know what a poor standard of football at Ccfc is.
Think I went to almost every home game that year and one or two away

Spot on Andrew, and I was there during all his games , if you can call them games.
Let’s say me and Durban had words in the dressing room away at Walsall after the cup game in midweek , we lost 6-3 and he did not care , so after the game we had more than words in front of all the team.
He has to be our worst manager of all time.
