Cardiff City beat Millwall 3nil, great performance yet again by City's youngsters, a lot of skill and looking very good.

Lee Tomlin in my opinion, some flashes of skill, but will need a few more weeks for his fitness to come through

Millwall's Under 23s are in Professional Development League action on Tuesday afternoon as they travel to Cardiff City (kick-off 1pm).

The match at the Cardiff International Sports Stadium will see Kevin Nugent's side attempt to gain a first victory in five matches, after two draws and two single-goal defeats in their previous four outings. Nugent will be taking a young Lions side to the Welsh Capitol, mainly 16,17' &18 year olds.





For the 2nd week running the opposition had a player sent off.

Millwall player sent off George Alexander.

Thoroughly entertaining half from the U23. Great passing and movement. Two cracking goals. Waite has been a particular handful. Tomlin has shown flashes of his usual self, good to see. Strange sending off for Millwall!

It will take him until June to shift that. He won’t make the bench anytime soon with everything he’s got to do. See you in September.
