10 January 2002
Millwall v Birmingham City
A half eaten pie was thrown at a linesman by Millwall fan

This sort of sickening behaviour has no place in football!

I might be paranoid but I can't help think that this has decision has been made in order to increase the chances of trouble at the match and generate some negative headlines for the club at a time when we're doing so well on and off the pitch.

I cannot believe that anyone could say that it should be a bubble!!!
There should be no such thing as bubbles, it impinges on peoples civil liberties.
If you do not want to go to Millwall then dont go! But I can assure you if you do go,
it is one hell of a fantastic trip, me personally - cant frigging wait, on the train from
Neath it is then. :ayatollah:

Re: " MILLWALL SAME BOTH WAYS NOW "

An ulterior motive by the police me thinks   They haven't had that much trouble with City fans and it is affecting there overtime  Or they know it will kick off major and it will, it will affect our allocation for away games in the future and remember that could be the Poem if the team do the Biz. I do believe this game should be a bubble because Millwall will still be looking for revenge after what happened 10 years ago. Brizzle shity should not be a bubble in my opinion but for Millwall i fear for the repercussions.

This made me chuckle

26 January 2002
Millwall v Blackburn Rovers
A car clamper van targeted a line of Millwall supporters cars after being employed by a private local estate. When the fans returned to their vehicles the mood turned ugly and the police were called.

The clamper’s own vehicle was overturned and fans’ cars were released without fines being imposed. Police describe the clamper as either the "bravest or most stupid man alive".
