What should board do?
Problem being, we have a board with no football knowledge..
Big decision needs to be made..to save season either stick with Harris and give him some financial backing, or change .
I am not anti Harris, however, our play of late has been very poor.

Just can't see us doing it or him being a Prem manager.
Sat Dec 26, 2020 6:41 pm
Time to do something before it's to late, billic is available, give him some funds to get us to the play offs over to you mr tan mr dalman
Sat Dec 26, 2020 9:02 pm
If we do get someone new in then I would expect them to have their own ideas and start selling some of the squad to raise the money for new players. That's going to take time so if you want a new man on the job then you are going to have to be patient as he goes about the work.

Stick With Harris
Yes our form is up and down but alot of teams are going to struggle bringing in new players in the window coming up so whatever you do you need to stick together and get through this poor form. But then again we played 2 great teams in Norwich and Brentford so im sure we will pick up form against Wycombe and Rotherham.

What’s the point of a poll?
What difference will it make?
The Board know about as much about football as the Rhwbina WI.
The Board had a golden opportunity after the dinosaur left - and fair play he did it as he’s experienced - but with a blank sheet of paper they end up with a dud.
He’s getting on my nerves now with his constant apologies and defeatist talk.
Sat Dec 26, 2020 10:52 pm
Even if he did get us up what would he do in the Prem!? We’d get found out. The defending today was comical.
Get someone in who doesn’t want to hoof the ball up the field. FFS long ball counter attack football is so fuckin boring to watch.
If we played attractive football I would care about loosing. It’s the way we loose that’s irritating me!

If things don't change they stay the same!
Poor football, poor tactics, poor results.
Sat Dec 26, 2020 11:06 pm
Won’t change anything getting rid of Harris, the problem is bigger than Harris.
Sat Dec 26, 2020 11:20 pm
Harris has to go clueless!
The season is over ! shit football and can you imagine if we did get promoted ? It would be embarassing!
Tan dont waste any money in the transfer window save it for the summer.
Get someone in who is willing to play football and blood some kids and give cardiff a new identity.
We are in the best position the club has been in my lifetime. I have been to 2 finals so lets do something for the future of the club and fans.
Get some style! FOOTBALL

No football knowledge? They've done pretty good if that's true ,2 premier league promotion, carling Cup final and playoff final and been competitive in most season ls in the last 10 years, most clubs are owned by non former players
Sun Dec 27, 2020 9:06 am
That's true wez.. problem is instead of stabilising, we peak and the then go backwards. That’s what needs to stop. I doubt if Tan or Dalman are happy with what they see, but it’s up to them to sort it out either way..

I’m stuck in between. The game yesterday was a great example of the problem under Harris. First half I was really impressed, we were disciplined and closed down well and of course that goal! It looks like we’re on to something and of course we capitulate in the second half. It all depends on how ambitious the board would be. I’m a bit cautious so naturally tend to go for experience like Pearson or maybe Bilic if we could get him. Although might be worth giving Bellamy an interview and maybe another some other young coaches. Hate to say it but the Jack’s are flying under a manager I had never heard of before

The owner and board have been nothing but fantastic for this club
One big misguided mistake was made at the start of there tenure but they have apologised made up for that multiple times .
If people want a person with deep rooted knowledge of the game to sit alongside the board then I'm all for that. But who is this person ?
Nobody can accurately get the appointments right every time. Look at Arteta at Arsenal. Everyone was after him and he's bombed

That would help a lot if it was the right player

Harris will get us mid table and safety, if ambitious change.
Yet then 11 managers 11 years under present owners
Sun Dec 27, 2020 10:19 am
We haven't got a pot to piss in! So there is no way we are going 3pay off his contract and then give a new manager money for new players.
The only manager we could afford right now is Ian Holloway and his style of play would mean we wouldn't need any new players.

Change
Sun Dec 27, 2020 10:22 am
I will appoint Hughes
Sun Dec 27, 2020 10:59 am
Reassess in the summer is my view. The players he has brought in are not the problem, its the ones he inherited are.

Listen Vinnie, I've been on your side and defended you enough times, but trust me do this and I'll be handing out the pitchforks myself.

That stat annoys me
Its actually 10 managers if you count Dave Jones who was already here
Gabbidon who was caretaker
Scott Young who was caretaker
David Kerslake was caretaker
They have only actually given the job full time to 6 people in 11 years, Two of them were signed to reduce wages, Two of them won promotion , one of the others got to the play offs in his first season and is still here, the other is now manager of one of the biggest clubs in the world
Not really that bad when you look at it without a hate for the board
Sun Dec 27, 2020 4:33 pm
I voted for change
But I have to disagree with some comments. Mehmet Dalman was previously on the board at Man Utd wasnt he?
I do think that if we want to be a Premier League club, and one that stays there, we should get a decent manager give im money - so that we can buy players cheaper than they would normally be - and look to secure a side staying in the Premier League for a few seasons (like Bournemouth and Burnley)
And for those who have no idea as to how big our club is - Cardiff is a much bigger club than both Bournemouth and Burnley
