FAO OF THE CCFC BOARD & YES MAN NEIL HARRIS

The Top 2 places of the Championship are getting further out of our reach and you All can take the blame.

We now have 3 very winnable games to play, but sacking your yes man Neil Harris won’t solve anything if he is replaced by another yes man.

Wed Nov 25 Coventry City v Cardiff City playing at Birmingham City

Sat Nov 28 LUTON TOWN H

7pm kick off Tue Dec 01 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN H

Harris has done a Russel Slade and cleared out 23 players ( including 10 U23’S) this year and only signed 2 permanent replacements.

Fair play to Harris with little money he has brought in players like Harry Wilson & Kieffer Moore, but by his own admission he needed more players .

Squad to small.

Cardiff were lucky compared to the majority of clubs and received £34mill from Sky in October and get £130,000 every time on Sky .

Stupid question if its pointless sacking Harris because board will only put another yes man in what do you suggest board do ? For me The Simple solution everyone resign from board and tan walks away immediately so Problem solved no more yes men!...... fans can run the club like other clubs...
As I dont have say in who our manager is I shall carry on being frustrated by Harris's must not lose attitude rather than try to win it attitude.... until hes replaced which wont be long . :?

Personally if they are going to get another yes man, may as well stay with Neil Harris.

We won’t be relegated :thumbright: :bluebird:

Allan, are you serious we wont have a football club? you must not have been around during the Durban days, Clemo days, Kumash days etc they were the real dark days.

We are a massive club now and way bigger than those days, I can !00% assure you, we will be saved and continue if Tan went :D :D :bluebird: :bluebird:

Allan a question for you after 11 yrs how far have the U18’S @ U23’S come?

And the first team?

If the Board resigned and Tan walked away, how long before were in administration and deducted 10 points?

The solution is if the Manager doesn't get at least 6 points from the next 3 games is to replace him with a manager with a proven track record in the Championship or similar league overseas.

Spot on Annis.

Harris is doing very badly this season. I have tried to support him, but that's becoming more and more difficult.

But realistically, who would the board bring in to replace him?

Those on here saying it could be someone like Eddie Howe or Sam Allardyce need to dream on. Neither of them would work under the restrictions that the board would impose.

Either way this start is a big let down to this point to the way we finished last season .

I’m a positive poster on here , but it’s time for the board to go, I can see us only going backwards now , they are not saving us anymore just plodding along and even relegation could happen

Re: FAO OF THE CCFC BOARD & YES MAN NEIL HARRIS

Wed Nov 25, 2020 7:28 am

We should get a new owner ASAP

There are hundreds of suitable billionaires just waiting for Tan to sell up so they can take us to the next level and spend there billions on our squad. All tan has to do is pick one from the list. Personly I would go with Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk . As we know they are HUGE cardiff fans and have a plethora of knowledge when it comes to running football clubs.

Possibly then they would sign a decent manager like Pochettino who would address our right back issue in January.

Neither of those prospective new owners would want any say whatsoever in who they spend there money on in the transfer windows or who they pick as manager. They would all listen to the fans opinion 100% and just go and get them.

I can see it now

THE AMAZON STADIUM or the
TESLA ground

People need to get real and stop having Tan for changing the colour of our shirt . He changed it back and made good time and time again since. He has overseen the most successful ten years in our History and has taken this club forward.
Like every other owner in the world he makes mistakes regarding managers but he also makes some very good decisions like Malky and Warnock. Nobody on this forum knows the inner working of a football club at this level as much as Tan even though they may think they do. He is doing a very good job and I hope he stays for many more years to come.

The only thing wrong with Tan to most on here is the fact his name is not SAM . If it was , with tans record he would be adored

The table makes grim reading.

Closer to relegation than TOP 6.

A loss tonight and he will be gone.

I've regularly said there should be MAJOR changes which might be:

1. Sell up to new owners who share the passion and dreams of the supporters

2. The current owners releasing the purse strings generously

3. The current owners bring in a no nonsense, experienced, quality manager who is allowed to manage the current crop with zero interference

If nothing changes substantially off the pitch nothing will change on it.

No wasnt said tongue in cheek! I know if that happened club be bankrupt and liquidated quickly but Get fed up of this yes man "manager" BS that gets peddled on here by numerous people every so often, vast majority of managers are yes men carrying out orders of owner just like you and me are when in work as employees...... every season clubs clear out their playing staff and other cost cutting measures following relegation just like city have done some do it better than others though! If dont like tan picking yes men what's alternative? get new owners who will pick another manager to say "YES" to him !! Or for owner to just walk away let fans co-operative run club and pick a manager that doesn't need to be a yes man... only josè pep klopp and few other managers are their own man and can dictate their conditions of employment, city as a club dont come into that category unfortunately.

1 . Name somebody (Cardiff fan) with enough money that falls into that category

2. Vincent Tan has spent over £200million pound on players since he has been here

3. He has already brought in Two Managers who were no nonsense in Waenock and Malky and gave them huge money to spend for a club our size , who do you suggest he signs ?

Who's that then?

2. The current owners releasing the purse strings generously
They're businessmen, Cardiff City is a business, this would be a poor business strategy. Why would they do this?

3. The current owners bring in a no nonsense, experienced, quality manager who is allowed to manage the current crop with zero interference
Who would this be? How much would they cost? Why would they come to Cardiff? Poch is available, would you suggest him?

Absolutely clueless :?

If he wanted to sell the club , surely he would have done so after promotion or during the Premier League season when the club would have been more attractive to potential buyers??

Watched some of the Bournemouth game on Saturday and last night, good football team , very pleasing on the eye and David Brooks playing really well.the othe 2 relegated teams, Norwich and Watford seem to have found some form too .So we are most probably playing for one of the 3 remaining play off places and need to start putting a winning run together , no point going unbeaten in 6 winning just one !!!
Nine points from next 3 games is a must else I think we will be too far behind, Harris will most probably be sacked and the new manager told to consolidate in the Championship before we purge the squad of high earners with parachute payments finished :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It has paid off though since he has been here

We've had 2 promotions to the premier league

A play off final

3 play off finishes

A league cup final

How many championship clubs can say that ?

We have been very unluckybin the premier league, the first time we had a manager issue regarding the problems surrounding Malky so we went and got one of the most sought after managers in Europe and it didn't work. The second time unfortunately we had the death of our record signing before he could even kick a ball.

Vincent tan has been a great owner and if it wasn't for one or twobthings out of his control we would likely have stayed up
