This is probably the only time I've ever wanted them to win, purely as I want to play them in the final .

It would be funny if they lose though so I guess can't lose either way

I can't for whatever reason support the Jacks.

If by a miracle we beat Fulham over two legs, can you imagine the feeling losing to the Jacks in the final.........Noooooooooo.

Its strange given the size of these games and whats at stake that we have no VAR in them.

Brentford have been the better team in the first 25 minutes.

Ollie Watkins should have given them the lead.

Twice should have scored

You can tell Brewster is going to be a player. Never realised the Keeper, full back, AMC and striker were all on loan. Nearly half your first team at the mercy of their parent club, hardly building for the future, well theirs.

Phew, just missed a good opportunity.

Swansea hit the post

Would prefer to play jacks rather than brentford apart from brewster brentford have watkins 2nd best scorer in division plus they look like they can score from anyone best footballing team in the division
So oddly a swans win ? For me get brentford out
swans would' nt want us.

We would be better off playing The Jacks rather than Brentford

Should have had 3?? What you watching?

One shot would have had the keeper beaten if it was on target, the Benrhama run and shot that he blazed over. That’s about it.

Hey Al, were we unlucky hitting the inside of the post with the keeper beaten?.... :D

They are clearly the better side as expected though.

Brentford the better side and have had some good chances.

Swansea also looking very dangerous going forward and came very close in that first half.

Could go either way.

I really think if we are to have any chance of progressing to the Final we need to be taking a lead to Griffin Park.

If we can keep it at 0-0 until the 70th, bring on Routledge for some spark then with recent results they may get a little nervy. That’s my hope anyway.

Both teams are decent but nothing special

Brentford are struggling with balls into the box and Swansea struggling with players running at them with the ball.

City can beat both of these with the right game plan

We can beat these 2 at the same time

:)

I still believe the winner of our game against Fulham will win the play offs

Even more now after watching this

Andre Ayew has just had a penalty saved for Swansea

Re: " Latest: Swansea v Brentford (first leg) "

Missed penalty by Ayew.

That was our chance.

Red card for Brentford. Bit harsh but was pretty reckless. Poor decision.

RED CARD: Rico Henry sent off for Brentford

The rules have changed.....That was uncontrolled, its doesn't matter if he nicked the ball, its not 1985 !!!

I don't agree with the Sky commentators. They say it wasn't even a foul but I think it was.

A red card for that is extremely harsh though.

Big chance for Swansea now to get a lead going into the second leg.

Yeah it was wild, strange one. Can see why he gave it but think I’d be feeling it was harsh if it was one of ours.
