PELTIER GONE OFFICIAL

Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that Lee Peltier has left the Bluebirds by mutual agreement.
Lee joined Cardiff City in January 2015 from Huddersfield Town. The tough tackling defender went on to make 159 league appearances across five seasons at the Club.

We’d like to thank Lee for his efforts during the last five years and wish him the very best for the future.

West Brom have already been busy on Transfer Deadline Day and the Sky Bet Championship promotion hopefuls are closing in on adding another name to their ranks.

That addition comes in the form of 33-year-old Lee Peltier from Cardiff, with Nathan Ferguson potentiall on his way to Crystal Palace.

Hes a decent player at this level but that is about it.
The new signing can play both sides plus we have Richard's and Coxe as back up.

West Brom eye move for Cardiff City veteran

West Brom have reportedly made a shock deadline day swoop for Cardiff City’s veteran defender Lee Peltier.

The Bluebirds have already let six players leave the club this month and it was understood no other senior player would be allowed to leave.

However, according to Sky Sports, Championship rivals West Brom appear to have identified Peltier as a replacement for Nathan Ferguson, who is on the brink of sealing a move to Premier League outfit Crystal Palace.

It would be very hard for him to turn down the money at west brom and one last shot at the premier league next season. It may well be his last chance.

Been a good servant, but offers nothing going forward. Wouldn't be too disappointed about this, would imagine he's one of our better paid players and I have faith in Jazz, Bacuna, Coxe & even Nelson to play there

Not a big loss? He's one of the most consistant players in the team, gives it all and isn't too affraid to put his head where is hurts. He's your old school full back who takes no prisoners. If true, good luck. Been an excellent player for the club! Nothing but good things to say about him

I really hope this doesn’t happen. He has been so consistent for us and while he’s not the most glamorous player he is so important. Why would we say we need cover and competition at left back and then leave us short at right back.

Jaz has had 2 half tidy games since coming back in and a school boy challenge to give away penalty on Tuesday.. Bacuna is no right back hope we have a replacement lined up if Pelts does go
