Got told up at Leeds that Warnock is being investigated by Tan for taking bribes on players coming in and players actually playing?
Anyone heard anything similar ?

I think it stems from his crystal palace days and what Jason puncheon said ,there was an article in the press about it ,dont know if it's TRUE tho

I had the pleasure of meeting the man himself this evening as he was having a farewell dinner with the medical staff. I suspect he is not whiter than white, but which football manager is? All I know is that he transformed and united our club at a pretty desperate time for us and brought us a wholly unexpected bonus season in the premiership. With that in mind, I don't really care if he made a few quid on the side - lets face it, most of us would if we could get away with it. I think it was the right time for him to leave before his achievements here got sullied, and I wish him every success for the future whatever or wherever that may be.

it was reported that a final exit settlement had been agreed in early December.. that doesn't sound like him being investigated to me..

I agree with your positivity on what he achieved in uniting our club when we realy needed it.

Not sure about the other justifications. I'd imagine the pay of football managers is substantial enough that they don't need to go looking for more. Whole load of other reasons why it shouldn't happen. I'm sure Sir Neil has never taken a single penny he shouldn't have.

Warnock left Sheffield United after the Tevez affair relegation. Brian Robson was manager when Jagielka was sold..

yes Tan does withhold settlement payments or at least that's what he has done previously. but this one is done and dusted..

as for Warnock ,he did say it was his last year and did add he would go xmas if we were not involved or if it soured , the 2 Derby defeats in close succession sort of brought it all to a head..?
