WALES HAVE QUALIFIED FOR EURO 2020


Surely now Ryan Giggs deserves credit? He's changed things from when we weren't doing well and proved a lot of people wrong about him.

I didn't want him to get the job, but fair play he's delivered




It will be just our third major tournament after 1958 and 2016.

There is no one country hosting it, as the tournament will be held across Europe.



The draw for the group stage is on Saturday, November 30th

Don't agree with you Thomas.....whilst I hated the Giggs appointment, every new manager needs time. Giggs has proven he can change, because quite frankly it was going South.

He did that with Moore, and Moore has been superb. So whilst I was a doubter, the bottom line is we have qualified, very rare in our history.

I give Giggs credit for that and he deserves our support, even though I understand some of it will be through gritted teeth.

Brilliant tonight. My first game at Ninian Park was a 0-0 draw against (the soon to be be world champions). Two weeks later we beat USSR (previously unbeaten in out WC qualifying group). Our scorers that night (I think) were Ivor Allchurch and Roy Vernon

I think tonight beats all that. Boys became men. No play off now but who do we want in a friendly in March, as we have a vacant date available?

Wales have qualified for Europe again which is absolutely brilliant. I know this should not bug me but I watched it on sky and Rob Earnshaw was A pundit. Could anyone get his accent it sounded somewhere between Dutch and American, really weird I thought he was born and brought up in South Wales, is this not the case?

Apart from Ramsey who hasn’t played for a year and Bale whose also missed a lot of games, Giggs has brought in a lot of youngsters. Don’t you remember when we had Hughes,Rush, Saunders as strikers, Giggs and Speed as wingers, Southall and Radcliffe all top Premier League Players. Giggs has brought in a striker from Wigan, a Cardiff City reject Lockyer, a player from Lincoln and made them a very professional team!

Earnie scored against Hungary when we won 2-1 in Budapest after being a goal behind, so forget his accent He's one of us. By the way, the other Welsh goal was scored by a fellow bluebird, Jason Koumas. I think it was 2003, but I've been unwell since then, so apologies if I'm wrong

Yes credit to Giggs but let’s honest this is the best Wales squad I’ve seen and without doubt they should have qualified from that group.

Yes but when was the last time young welsh players like the ones we have now coming from Man utd and Chelsea plus other Premier league teams.
Our last group was much harder than this one. I would rather play Slovakia and Hungary than Belgium and Bosnia. Plus away trips to Israel and Cyprus.

Mainly due to injuries and the fact they are at the biggest clubs in the world not league 1 and 2 like we are used to.

We can name a full 11 of premier league players easily, plus have others in reserve. When have we ever been able to do that ?

We've also played some really good football over the past 2 games(even better when Ramsey is in the team) and its good to see Giggs bringing in the youngsters and not allowing the team to age. Bring on the Euros!!!

Couldn't agree more, I wasn't a Giggs fan, however credit is due!! Can't wait for the draw now to see where are going next!

I'm liking his policy,if you're good enough,you are old enough tbf,this squad he has put together could cause a few upsets,regardless of who we are grouped with. Well done wales,you bossed two very important games,and in some style too.

This one is far harder than previous qualification simply because all teams except Azerbaijan were of equal standing and it proved as teams took points of each other! tonight was only Giggs 16th game so hardly any pre taunement games to get team together... you are coming across as anti Giggs no matter what? Just give giggs the credit he deserves
