Not going to bother now

Sat Nov 16, 2019 2:32 pm

I was a season ticket holder since 1998. This season I couldn't be bothered,I had enough of watching crap football been displayed since Dave jones departed our club. After hearing Dalman on the radio saying we looking for more attacking football, I said to my wife I think I may buy a half season ticket. After the appointment I'm not going to bother because I don't think anything will change on the field. Good luck Neil in your task and you will have my full support from my armchair.

Thanks for letting us know this Wayne.

What type of arm chair will you be sitting in?

I have a season ticket and will keep going, but I encourage all fans who have enough will power not to put money into this club in its current state, and not to support Vincent, Mehmet and Ken’s decision. If the fans turn on the club because of this appointment, it’s not the fans fault. It’s the owner & chairman showing a lack of ambition and if they want to “play it safe” by appointing a glass half empty manager that nobody wanted, then they can settle for less fans and money.

They’ve made their bed they can sleep in it sort of thing. I’ll keep going to the games as I have a season ticket, and I will support Harris as everyone who turns up will. I just respect those who won’t turn up, there’s no point.

look up the word SUPPORT..

ill buy what I normally buy to support my club...
common sense should tell you that if people boycott their own club and then the manager don't work out or we need a new player the club will have less money to invest in these new replacements..

Why do you feel the need to tell us.?
But hey ho, one less moaner..
I like others will support Harris..
Believe me, been far worse.. that’s the joy of being a supporter.

Go and have a hunt around then and see if you can find someone else to pump millions into this club. You won't find it easy, there are not many around who will take a gamble with a football club, which for most has been the traditional way to lose a small fortune.

i will support city whoever manages them ....end of..
I don’t recall a single manager coming out saying he was interested in the Cardiff job....so I will give Neil Harris a chance .
We are 7 points off play offs so today is where our season can start

Tan goes for Harris, because he will work with the limitations of Tans finances, because the last manager spent it all.

Massively underwhelming appointment, we dont even know if he was first choice but I suspect it’s because of the above, I am gutted, angry but prefer him to Warnock, I didn’t want him anywhere near us, but will get behind him and wish him the best.

The squad left to him by Warnock, Klopp would struggle with

Well said sir,I met slade in person,he was a very nice bloke, who had been given the job of a hatchet man, with the main brief being to get rid of tonnes of deadwood high earners, and I know the football wasnt pretty,I thought he did ok,circumstances considered. :old: :bluebird:

And it could be that Harris has been brought in for exactly the same reason.

Remember though that so many players bought by Ole had to have their contracts paid up by the club at vast expense because nobody else was willing to pay a fee for them or take on their wages.

Unfortunately there are plenty of players in the current squad whose current value is way below what the previous manager paid for them and many who have been given long term or new contracts recently which again means they are going to be almost impossible to sell.

Feels very similar to when Slade took over actually.

its not the same situation.. Slade excluded all bar 20 players within 2 weeks of getting here..some of the excluded were paid up 2 months later in December ... its not as if we gave it a couple of windows and nobody came in.. was bizarre

Yet you'll be clamouring for a ticket for the Swansea game

I was waiting to see what excuse would be used as to why people wouldn’t renew once it was obvious you were not bouncing back.

Seems like Harris has provided the next key excuse. Why are your attendances only 17,000 when you claim to be massive... “protests innit, staying away due to the manager” :laughing6:

Re: Not going to bother now

Mon Nov 18, 2019 9:51 pm

Whilst the appointment of Harris left me a little underwhelmed I will be taking my seat at every home game for the rest of the season and beyond.

One thing I like is going out on a Saturday afternoon and watching a game of football, especially when it's my favourite team which I have supported since 1968. So win, lose or draw I'll be there. I'll criticise them when they are bad and moan about the signings we make etc, but I will not be sitting in an armchair pretending to support a 'big' team.

happens everywhere...the fella that's sat next to me at internationals was a 10 yr ST holder at Swansea...not this season, not putting one penny in the Americans pockets...Man Utd fans starting a new club and wearing Norwich scarves....West Ham fans annoyed they are not a champions league club as promised..
