Morning Welshmen.

Another fixture of ours that has been ruined by the OB unfortunately but should be fun anyway.

We made the mistake last year of getting into Cardiff for about 8am and not one pub would let us in, f*cking nightmare. Only place we could get a drink was the ground. Had to look at alternative plan this year, trains aren't starting til about 8:50am which is annoying.

In some ways I'm pretty fortunate that it isn't a 3pm or even late KO as I won't have a chance to consume as much booze as is the norm as I'm in the home end, so would be a pretty fatal error to get carried away if we score a meaningful goal (not that we ever do at your place).

Anyway try and behave yourselves, played right up for the friday night game the other year you bastards. :D

What a joke, why would you come onto rivals messgeboard and put that your in the home end?

Loads of us are, we all were last time as well.

No issue is there? You don't get close to selling out.

It's called HOME end for a reason.

Perhaps if you gave us more than 2,000 tickets like we do you it'd make general sale for the likes of myself and this wouldn't be an issue?

You gave Birmingham more than that Saturday, even gave Newcastle up to 6k the other year. Why not just give us that instead of leaving the seats empty?

Agree about the small Allocation, but then the same applies to our club. As for the pubs bit in your op, you lot have got a reputation for smashing them up.

Re: Sunday BCFC

Its not Cardiff City, it’s the Police who have reduced your Away Support.

We had ours reduced at your place and Swansea Away.

I believe you should get at least 3,000 and same when we go to Ashton Gate.

Last time the police limited us to 1,400, this time I think 2,000 is the club’s decision again not the police. It’s really annoying.

And as for smashing up pubs I think we’ve been pretty well behaved in fixtures against you in recent years? Not so much against Swansea.....

No big surprise there really. Never thought of Ashton Gate as an intimidating place to be honest. That park opposite your ground was always a potential flashpoint though. However, from my exeriences of going there in the 70's/80's & 90's, it was mostly hyped up teenagers bouncing around in that park.

Not a bad city Bristol in all fairness; I've got lots of family living/working there and generally Bristol's folk are quite friendly.

As for the ticket reduction... well, we (Cardiff) have had our full of such measures over the years, we started to clean up our act and I suggest that's the way forward for you lot too - stop committing GBH on helpless pub tables and chairs, it might help.

Was joking, it's a bit of a joke within our fanbase now. Whenever there's an incident such as some daft sods chucking coins or a bit of a punch up the club love to regurgitate the "family club" phrase — I suppose if you look and see Millwall won family club of the year us two could probably just about get away with it. :laughing5:

And as said we've been well behave in Cardiff in our last visit. 2016 was f*cking nuts but that wasn't pub smashing or scarfer clouting, that was two mobs going at it.

Where was this, Cardiff or Bristol?

Cardiff. Most banning orders ever dished out at a UK game, it was Warnock's first game for you.

We all missed the last train back as Heddlu held us in the road outside your ground for nearly a couple of hours.

As a result, the OB overruled Sky for the first time ever in this country as it was supposed to be a Friday game at AG but got moved to early Saturday (we won 2-1) then we got a 1,400 allocation at your place (we lost 1-0).

Re: Sunday BCFC

Ninian Park was one of the toughest grounds as an away fan, always knew you'd be in for it at some stage.

By contrast, CCS is mainly a walk in the park.

Why is that? Have the lads that used to attend been alienated by Tan and his weird shenanigans?

My apologies, I must be out of the loop these days. My only recollection of Bristol City's away support is arriving in Cardiff super early, announcing your arrival and hence get a police wrap in a pub, then being a bit boisterous in said pub. But if you say that you went toe-to-toe with Cardiff, I'll take your word for it.

Indeed we did, was carnage outside after which I'm sure people on here can attest to.

As for Cardiff turning up at AG.... when was the last time? Not for years, last fixture we even let your fans out at the same time as ours and still nothing, even despite you losing.

Your club's changed, for better or worse. Depends what your standpoint is.
