' I’m still pro Warnock '

Deserves a lot more respect than he is getting.

Two winnable home games and we are right in the mix.

Played the formation many on here were crying out for.

Then you're blind I'm afraid. Do you think that was acceptable today?

Formations mean very little in football , it's the organisation, style, player roles and work ethic you put into the formation that counts.

Our style and organisation is shocking and that is the problem

Confidence is rock bottom

Absolutely spot on, and It all starts And stops with the manager and coaches.

We do respect him but style of play and results speak for itself.
Its time for a change.

Has been brilliant for the club and to get us promoted from the position we were in when he arrived was incredible.

But from the moment we got promoted it's been all downhill I'm afraid.

He's had his time for which we are all grateful but now it's time to move on I think for him and us.

I think so to, and I’ve said in previous posts that when you stop getting better, you start getting worse.

Changes should have been made last season. Let’s hope it’s not too late to salvage this season.....

are you entertained and excited by Warnocks brand of football and the players he signs to utilise it? It’s awful but not just today, it’s needs must football , he didn’t save us from relegation, an experienced manager shut up shop and guided us clear. Promotion year was a great feeling, but it was still not entertaining football , and that year to many clubs in transition. EPL was desperately poor, we didn’t have a go. And this year shocking. He is not a City legend. A nice guy and did the club proud with the Sala tragedy. Pundit also very good. Legend no. But he has to go, he should Gone have a year ago, we might still be in the EPL. Please don’t give this man transfer funds in Jan, he has to go now. A slow rebuild and reinvention of how we play the game is needed, let’s play football Bluebirds.

So because of what he has done in the past he is immune from criticism? I'll ask you again, was what we saw yesterday acceptable?

What we have seen for most of the season has been unacceptable but people have put up with it because of the past good he has done for the club, that performance, in a derby against an out of form Swansea team is unacceptable beyond and enough is enough.

Re: I’m still pro Warnock

Mon Oct 28, 2019 7:14 am

It's a results business and unfortunately our results and performances have been diabolical.

We will forever be grateful for what he has achieved but he chose to go at the end of the season and from this decision the players have stopped responding to him.

A new manager with contacts should be brought in now to prepare the squad for next season and move out the dross

Unfortunately due to the poor transfer business of NW this will take a couple of years at least.

The squad is far better than their current position but are not performing for NW.

Time for a change , just a bit earlier than planned as we are not going anywhere this season

I didn’t say immune from criticism.

We were poor v Sheff Wed and poor yesterday.

But looked good v Millwall.

I’m prepared to give him a chance.

Fair enough mate, I just think he's had enough chances, that coupled with the fact that he is leaving anyway, creating the wrong atmosphere at the club.

Re: I’m still pro Warnock

Mon Oct 28, 2019 8:33 am

Yep, should never have announced his leaving!! Some players look like they know they will be out when a new man comes in and it's smashed any confidence they had.

 I'm with you, two of the best players along with Bamba out, a terrible performance, but we could still hit the playoffs if he sorts the defence out quickly!

Re: I’m still pro Warnock

I'm with him too.

I don't expect us to win the league. But I expect us to improve, although I've thought that for weeks now.

Hopefully thats happened by Xmas.

Totally agree. He deserves our full backing despite the poor performance yesterday. He’ll have his work cut out at the moment but I still believe he’s the best person for the job

Re: ' I’m still pro Warnock '

Mon Oct 28, 2019 12:52 pm

We are six points off the last playoff spot and six points off the third relegation spot. We won't make the playoffs and I don't think we will be sucked into a relegation battle. Anyone who thinks we will make the playoffs is deluding themselves. Bamba seems to have emerged as a magic talisman who will change everything he won't. I like Bamba but he is 35 recovering from a bad injury and is no quicker than Morrisson or Flint he will make no difference.

The Warnock Taliban after a mediocre start said not to get worried as you could not judge us until we had played 10 games.Well we have played 14 games now and are as mediocre as ever and there is absolutely no signs of it changing, three games without a win and we were lucky to pick up two points from them if anything we are worse. Vaulks Nelson and Glatzel look terrible signings obviously a bit difficult to say in the case of the first two ans they are deemed not good enough to play for even this poor side.

For me Warnock is like a once great boxer who has gone on too long and is now getting beaten all the time, think Ali v Larry Homes.I like the guy a lot but Cardiff should not have to suffer so he can have a fairwell tour. We have nothing left to play for this season so let's get new blood in so they can asses the squad work out who to get rid of and who stays and prepare for next season.Sorry Neil but it's time to go.

People don’t even realise they do it.

Used to happen with the Tan haters all the time.

b*stard Tan got us £140 million in debt (not true btw)
b*stard Tan won’t give us money for new players.

Our fans take the absolute biscuit.

Re: ' I’m still pro Warnock '

I don't agree with changing manager mid season anyway.
With our group of players who were bought by Neil Warnock to play his style of football, and could probably not adapt to another managers style anyway. But he has spent well over £60 million on players for which we would be lucky to get 1/10th (£6 million) back if they were to be sold. Performances are terrible for such an outlay on the team. Players bought who are not included in the squads and are nowhere near a first team place.

The club are in a stick or risky twist situation, and I believe we should stick for now.

Didn’t someone try and buy Morrison for £5 million?

Reid is worth more than that on his own. As is Murphy. Bennett is worth £3 million.

I love it when peoples opinions become facts when they are not only just that persons opinion but are contradictory...
are the players he has brought in better than our current position { 10 who took part yesterday and 10 that took part against Millwall were signed by NW } . or are they the product of poor transfer dealings ...?

Great debate but oh dear.

I am not interested in the past, only the future. And so should we all be. The future is, he leaves at the seasons end, the present is, a poorly assembled disjointed squad playing old school frustrating predictable rigid football, and gutless in a local derby. I rest my case, but what do I know, I'm a clown right?
