Tensions run high at derbies but that’s completely out of order.

Must be a lie, there was no fighting spirit in Morrison today

I did think that actually.
I also wondered how it could have happened. Did SM go close to fans at end?

Re: I hope this is not true?

That’s what I was thinking.

Maybe he offered him out on a date..

If it is true, get him out of the club. No matter what fans shout , scream at players we cant have that .
But I am shocked that Morrison showed fighting spirit cause he didn't in 95 mins.

Imho our worst fefender and that’s saying something!

He is only human. I guess he was getting abuse and he does care, he is the skipper and this isn't going to plan.

I have seen so many fights, scuffles and verbals between our fans at away games that nothing surprises me.

Get him out of our club ASAP. Woeful defender now, made is money and doesn’t want to know anymore. I wonder what bonuses they were on when we went up? Anyway nowhere near the same desire.

From someone who was there in the front row - Morrison was called over by some fans at the end of the game who then started to abuse him after making out they wanted his shirt. He shrugged his shoulders in exasperation and walked away, so unless they missed something, its out of order and a needless criticism. Have to agree too that we make things very hard for ourselves as away fans sometime.

It is true. the team got serious abuse from the fans at the end of the game. Most players turned away but Morrison kept walking to the crowd and did call out a fan or group of fans. But there was true anger at the end. We were seven shades of shit. Awful awful performance.

Can’t see it being true,
However , feelings run high, if he did react like that then what did the supporter say?
Just because we pay our money, doesn’t give us licence to be offensive.
Morrison was one of our better players today.

He did get bit of stick when he went to city fans at end game! was reported on call rob by the pundits.. so may have slight truth to it but possibly not as bad as been made out?

Tbf to him, at least he had the balls to go over. He wasn’t good today imho but I think he hurt his hand / wrist / arm so maybe was t 100% after that.

Had injury weeks ago but it's just frustration on fans part i was there and it was awful and Morrison was ok thats it! Its possible fans having go at him because every dead ball goes towards him at far post and week in week out sfa comes of it he just seems to be the highlight of our game but produces nothing...

morrison was injured throughout the game and was clapping fans at the end, its just that flint and morrison are too similar in there playing style thats why bamba worked so well with morrison. because bamba goes all out to get the ball back and morrison protects him. in my opinion i think we should off kept gunner and manga because they were more solid in the team.
not many leaders in midfield.

its just the end of the road for warnock unfortunately

Not a massive fan of Morrison as a defender or captain and havent been for a few seasons

But he dont deserve the flack hes getting. Hes had hand problems for a while and fell on his other arm/hand and still played.

He may not be the greatest defender but he does have heart and is a warrior.

Err on another thread on here he is easily the number one choice for our man of the match. I voted for him too,one of the few players to put up a bit of fight.

I hope it is true but I doubt it is.

More likely, he was getting pelters and gave a bit back.

Got no problem with that personally, shows he has passion, what do people want him to do, whimper away with his hands in the air?

I think he has been more than a decent servant to the Club and gives his all, fans are entitled to have to their say absolutely I will always be the biggest advocate of that, but if a player has a little go back if they don't think it's warranted then that's equally fair.

Put yourself in his shoes, does anybody think he didn't try, give his all or want to win today?

It did happen and it looked like he was offering a fan out.

He was getting a fair amount of abuse as were the rest of the team at the end.

I agree he has been a decent servant and gives his all - he is a limited player however and like the manager it seems as if his best times are behind him. He's slower than ever, cannot ever find a team mate with any pass or header and is no longer any threat at the attacking end of the pitch.

Needs to be dropped for a while really but doesn't deserve to be vilified for his efforts.

Thank You mate, I will take your word on that then

I think we are views on Morrison are similar to be honest

I still don't blame him though, I honestly believe the only way he would have reacted in a really bad manor was if it was warranted, ie the fan said some to close to the bone.
