I spoke to him at length about football, refereeing etc and I know that his son used to go to watch city with him. I can’t imagine he’d take his boy there kicking and screaming but he may well have gone on to support Wrexham / Liverpool. I neither now no care about that tbh.

Keith was a football league linesman in the 70's, an active referee in the 80's and 90's and only started to watch Cardiff matches regularly as an adult at the end in the 00's after he finished with his job as a referee assessor.

Steve was born in 1979 and moved to North Wales a teen. He did not used to go to watch Cardiff with his Dad regularly as his Dad was working as a ref and he was a football player. I don't know who you have been speaking to but certainly doesn't seem to be Keith.

During his time as a Football League assessor, Southampton were an established Premier League team, he had nothing to do with the Premier League.
