Nope, there is no ''were'' about it. Keith still is, in fact he is an avid Cardiff fan and even worked for the club as a hospitality host.
Steve has never been, just a silly myth started on here which is usually the source of all silly Swansea related myths.

I don't think I said you did, did I?
I was just telling you as you brought his Mum up. Keith is the Cardiff fan, Mum doesn't like football and Steve spent most of his life in North Wales both playing and coaching, he supports Wrexham and Liverpool.
But the truth isn't that fun sometimes, right?

I can’t imagine he’d take his boy there kicking and screaming but he may well have gone on to support Wrexham / Liverpool. I neither now no care about that tbh.
Was just replying to the light hearted OP really.

You incorrectly said they were both big Cardiff City fans, that's not true - whether it be light hearted or not.
Keith was a football league linesman in the 70's, an active referee in the 80's and 90's and only started to watch Cardiff matches regularly as an adult at the end in the 00's after he finished with his job as a referee assessor.
Steve was born in 1979 and moved to North Wales a teen. He did not used to go to watch Cardiff with his Dad regularly as his Dad was working as a ref and he was a football player. I don't know who you have been speaking to but certainly doesn't seem to be Keith.

I stood in the shop his mum worked in and spoke to him about football. We talked ccfc and he was telling me how much he rated Peter Thorne and we agreed that he did the hard work for many of Earnie’ s goals. So we are talking early 2000s. He was still reffing as he asked if I’d like to accompany him to Southampton as a guest when he was reffing there. Anyway, the key bit is that he said that when he goes down he often takes his son Steve who loves football.
I’m sorry but I should have asked how many games that they’d gone to together as you have to do a certain amount to be a fan. Massive fan, sort of fan, bit of a fan..,, he had accompanied his dad there I’m guessing on more than one occasion.

I know what I’m saying and the convo happened. No doubt you googled that he was a football league assessor (not a ref as I had mistakenly said) during that time and he had access to matches up and down the country.

Aye and I had a text from a Nigerian Price saying that he was going to give me a billion pounds and that when he walked past the Cardiff stadium he saw a large group of Cardiff fans all shouting “We wish we were Swansea, take note of them board!”
Crazy stuff eh?
