Got to be honest and say Kadeem did okay; nothing we haven't seen before and nothing that made me think we miss him in the squad
Sadly, City's current formation doesn't play to the strengths of an adventurous attacking style and he may have made the right choice to try pastures new
Subbed in the 78th minute
What do you think?

Better than all the other wingers currently at out club and we should have played him more

No chance.
Maybe better than NML tonight but glad he ain’t here tbh.

Walked through us numerous times tonight and provided their goal. Not sure he’s better than what we have here BUT was a lot better than what we have here tonight

Yeah yeah, and Smithies is better than Etheridge

Seems opinion us as divided as ever but have to be honest and reaffirm my opinion that Harris is (for him) with a team that far more plays to his strengths but he still flatters to deceive on what I saw tonight
Thought Murphy (City's Josh that is) would be an absolute diamond for City, if we played to his strengths. He looked perplexed and frustrated at timestonight and I could see where he was coming from. Some poor balls/decisions from team mates left him isolated and/or bereft of real attacking opportunities

Yes he is
Dis you not see Etheridge shit distribution tonight ?
Did you see his dodgy punching away when he could easily catch it ? .
He was awful and put our defence under pressure twice
Fri Oct 18, 2019 11:16 pm
He wasn’t anything great.. Murphy much better..
Mendez needs to sort his head out
Fri Oct 18, 2019 11:19 pm
Josh Murphy and Mendez-Laing made Kadeem Harris look like George Best - they were piss poor tonight. Hoilett and Whyte must start on Tuesday night!
Fri Oct 18, 2019 11:24 pm
NW said he couldn’t offer Harris. a regular place,so he let him go. Yet he goes and buys whyte Harris could have done job and with a bit more skill

Etheridge pulled off at least three outstanding saves that I'm not convinced Smithies would have saved all of
Kicking a tad dodgy on occasions but overall, I felt the defence did pretty well against a solid Wednesday line-up that flattered to deceive wen it came to the final ball

I feel really sorry for Murphy and Laing. If you’re regularly receiving the ball at head height with a defender up your backside you’ve no chance.
Harris was receiving the ball on the deck from Bannon etc..
Sat Oct 19, 2019 7:46 am
Etheridge the better goalkeeper for me and rightfully the clubs number one.
A couple of dodgy kicks (but so did their keeper) but a couple of good saves especially the one which he punched well away from trouble. Terrible conditions for a GK, slippery ball so did well.
Sat Oct 19, 2019 8:14 am
We wasted him for years. Hopefully Whyte and Hoilett start the next game for us.
Sat Oct 19, 2019 8:16 am
We definitely didn't give him the chances he deserved. But in the same breathe I understand why he was moved on. I hope he goes on and does well.

Didn’t NW say, that Harris wanted too much money, and that was one of the reasons he was released.

I think it was more a case of we weren't willing to pay him anywhere near what hes worth or what our other wingers are on

You have your opinion but wasnt there a poll on the better keeper that came out 75% in favour of Etheridge. Dont mean a thing but that's the way most of us see it, and now he is fit, that's the way NW sees jt.
Anyway, his kicking is his weakness but the conditions played a massive part and that's why he punched the ball and didn't catch it imo.
I'm sure that's what the coaches would tell any keeper especially in those conditions.
Other than that I thought Etheridge gave a commanding performance with a few good saves and it's good to see our number 1 between the sticks

Well he was here under at least five different managers and none of them obviously rated him at the time hence why he never played more than a couple of times in a row it seems.
Some players just click at a certain club for a number of different reasons.
He was just ok for me last night, certainly nothing special or eye catching. Doesn’t bother me that he went one iota.

Absolute garbage comment.
Harris had plenty of chances but you were lucky if he had one good game in five.
Whyte and Hoilett are certainly better than Harris.
NML and Murphy’s best are both better than Harris’s best.
He’s a Championship squad player at best with a greedy father as a manager !!
7 goals in almost 80 games tells a story.

We could have Ronaldo and Messi on our wings and they wouldn't do anything. That has to be one of the worst home team selections I've seen at Cardiff. They had a 2 weeks to come with that. 3 cm with no creativity. A defence that just kick it anywhere without even looking to pass to a blue shirt.
Every time our wingers picked the ball up it was in their own half.
It was only when Tomlin came on we actually hit the wingers in dangerous areas and they actually impacted the game.
You can't just look at individual players. For me there is a clear difference to how we now play under Warnock now compared to how we played 2 seasons ago.
Sat Oct 19, 2019 12:47 pm
Yeah Kadeem was ok tonight ,but , he would play one good game then tail off and wouldn't be seen ,not consistent at all ,,when he was with us.
Not a mistake to let him go ,he ranks with Zahore we ain't gonna miss em

Made their goal, hit the post and went passed Peltier on quite a few occasions. A few Shef Wed fans walking behind us on Sloper Road were outraged he was substituted.

Who’s the better player then Harris or whyte ?

That's what I read also, asked for more money, and was turned down.Wednesday would pay him what he was looking for,so he went.tbf I didn't think it was the right thing to let him go,but if he wanted to get more games, which we couldn't guarantee, I don't blame him really, but as others have aluded to,we don't suit his style, whereas at weds,he is getting a decent run in a side that suits him.

Well Whyte cost £2m and we let Harris go on a free, only time will tell who becomes the better player! In hindsight we should have sold Mendez Laing or Murphy and given Harris another contract?

...then NML or JM would be playing superbly for another team no doubt.
We’ve just gotta move on. He’s gone - good riddance I say

Sheff play football more to harris liking but he is not consistent with them bit like lot of our ex players who move on... nml & jm play in our system and that why we are unbeaten at home, harris would struggle badly under NW that's
he was let go
Sun Oct 20, 2019 10:12 am
Yes agree , he did have a good game yesterday ,but consistent probably not
