That they are going to play us off the park at the Liberty.
The jacks I work with reckon that we are not going to be able to live with them and their total footbal style.
Apparently Celina is unplayable and hes's going to tear us apart.
Lets just give them the 3 points now shall we? :ayatollah:

I think we’ll do them.

They sound as ridiculous as the people on here that have been saying the same for you.

It will probably be a tight game where a single goal makes the difference.

Tbh if I had a free bet I’d go 1-1.

QPR played pretty football aswell

Look how that turned out.

We now have a solid defence With Pack sat in front of them

They will have 70% of the ball and we will win 1-0

Two very contrasting styles.

If will go one way or the other.

A lot depends on the fitness of both teams.

Will be a close scoreline.

Actually had a chat st with a jack this morning. We both agreed it'll be a hard game with 2 teams both in form and 2 different styles.

Too close to call for me but home advantage may sway it their way.

I think We'll hammer them. too big, too strong, too UP FOR IT. too passionate with Warnock directing our troops. There is no way Cardiff loses to the gypos in this game. unless a weak referee rescues them from their inevitable physical mauling.

Who have we hammered in the last two years ?

QPR 3 goals was the last time but was never a hammering ??

You can hammer a team 2 nil,it's not just the score but nature of play.
We'll grind them down with an attritional combative approach until They give up. Just wish Gunnarsson was on for Bacuna in a game like this.

That’s not true, otherwise you can hammer someone 0-0 or hammer someone and lose.

I think a 3 goal margin is generally accepted as a hammering, smashing of any variation of such term.

1965 was the last time you beat us by a 3 goal margin in the league or English cups. We have done it twice to you since though, including the last time we met.

The vast majority of derbies however are tight affairs.

You may think lots of things roathie. But do You ever convince anyone?
We will hammer you at every juncture.

It is of no consequence to me who is convinced at the time.

As usual, the actual events tend to make my point for me.

Should you beat us by 3 goals then I will give £100 to a charity of your choice, if you don’t you give to a charity of my choice yes? The obvious refusal that will come from this convinces me you are already sufficiently convinced on the matter :laughing6:

Predict your score then come back late October. Stop trying to convince people that a hammering has to have a 3 goal margin.

I’m not fooling enough to give score predictions. I will say that I don’t for one second think you will beat us by a 3 goal margin though, I think that’s just someone trying to compensate for their nerves or anxiousness about the game.

You said you would hammer us in every aspect, that includes scoreline. I don’t know many people that will class anything other than a 3 goal margin as a hammering when purely looking at scoreline.

If you aren’t confident of hammering us then just say so.

yea we might bully them, but we have to get close to them first. they play fast passing football, we'll spend most of the game, chasing the ball, only to boot it up top when we get it. i am very worried going into this game. i would love a win, but would settle for a draw atm

I think your understanding of getting "hammered" and my understanding of it must be very different. By your rationale, a team could get "hammered" one-nil if the other side gets all the possession? I've never heard anyone say their team had been hammered 2-0 before; 4-0, 5-0, 6-0, yeah..... but 2-0?

This is off my mate who been Swansea season ticket holder for donkey years. ye should b good game but ur boys could bully us especially in midfield where we r weak as f**k. So they don't sound that confident of beating us

Re: The word from down west is

Mon Oct 07, 2019 8:45 am

I think Swansea have been going through the new manager syndrome, much like Man U did when OGS arrived there. Man U have already started to fall away, and I wouldn't be surprised if something similar happens to the Swans. Not bothered one way or the other, I have nothing against them apart from when they play us. I don't think there is much between the sides, and our games against them will probably be close and could go either way.

For fans of my age, Bristol are the side we tend to dislike the most, and I would hate to see them get themselves into the PL next season leaving us behind in the Championship. Worryingly, they seem to be on the up, while we have not exactly set the league on fire this season.

It should be a tight game and could go either way, but I think Warnock will be the difference, he will really try and win for the fan.

In the past, their Managers have realised the importance to their fans and ours have underplayed it as just another game.

It means a lot more to them as the smaller club and City, if you look on their site there are constant threads on why Wales online the BBC and all the media prefer Cardiff, and the lack of coverage when they are higher in the league, that chip on there shoulder is growing bigger and bigger!

Re: The word from down west is

Tue Oct 08, 2019 9:50 am

The thought of watching yet another team pass it around our static and defensive central midfield is galling.

Why does our manager think it’s ok to play a game and have the ball for about 30% of its duration?

Why didn’t our manager get some creative talent into CM pre season?

Vaulks is turning into the new Emyr Hughes.

I’m becoming disenchanted with the City.

Cardiff is a bigger City than Swansea yes, but Swansea is the bigger football club, no question. It suggests you may have a chip on your shoulder by making such obviously outlandish comments.

As an aside, London is a bigger City than Liverpool too, but don’t hear too many Barnet fans saying Barnet are bigger than Liverpool :D

If we have a solid defence with Pack in front of the back four how come we conceded 4 goals on Saturday and currently have conceded 13 goals away from home the worst in the championship and one of the worst away defensive records in the entire football league. We even conceded 6 goals against Wigan and Reading who struggle to score at all. I am afraid your solid defensive is existing in a parallel universe.

West Brom would do that to the gypos x2, no problem.
Pack has been injured recently tbf.
We'll hammer the gypos trust me.

Cool. Wanna charity bet? You get any win by 3 or more goals for Cardiff and I get everything else.

£20? £50? £100?

You choose.
