Swansea v cardiff

Personally I reckon we’ll at least get a draw there. :bluescarf:

I think we could batter them tbh. QPR tonight played some lovely football but that only seemed to boost our grittiness to get the job done. Add the motivation of a derby and I think it’s a perfect game for a neil Warnock team

We'll hammer them. This Warnock side won't lose a derby this season. Worzel or Gypo. Far too physical and organised.

This is going to be a very interesting thread to read back on. :laughing6:

No doubt the blame will shift to the ref should it not pan out as predicted...

Don’t be so daft. I don’t ask to post, I just post as and when I choose to.

The hits this site gets when I post is through the roof, hence why the owner constantly overturns the bans handed out by mods that hate a Swansea fan being right, debating eloquently and as a result are threatened by the clout my opinions carry, it means they can’t then sway the direction of debate to safer ground. It frustrated the hell out of them.

I appreciate your concern though.

Either way come the end of the season we will be top 6 and they won’t be.

Absolutely, sometimes posts need no more than that.

My eloquence is when I express my views. The post you highlight was showing my physical reaction to reading such nonsense :D

How much are we betting on that?

£100 to charity? Which one shall we choose?

Lots seem to agree.
Let that be the end of the thread. :bluescarf:

I'm in disagreement. I think Jack's down their place will play us off the park. I would take a point at this time

you know what, before the season started i said i expect swansea to win it, they weren expecting promotion, and therefor this would of been a big game in that regards, whilst we would of been chasing promotion and would of taken swansea as just another game. now after seeing how well they play, i'd settle for a draw at the moment. because they are our rivals alot on here dont give them credit or the respect they deserve. on paper we should kick them all over the park, as we're a big team that loves to get stuck in, and they have a load of kids. however i just cannot see us getting near them at the moment, they move the ball soo well.

my heart says cardiff win, my head says settle for a draw. but it all depends as well on whos fit on the day, because we could lose 5/6 players before then or they could

I’m not so sure but I don’t think we will win, a goal or two in it, could go either way.

Derby games are one of a kind and form and styles go out the window. If anyone says they expect their team to steamroller the other then they are either lying or haven’t experienced many derbies.

If we take a 3+ goal win as a hammering, the last time Cardiff hammered Swansea was in 1965, when we were Swansea Town. Almost 60 years ago. In between that time we hammered you twice, including the last derby game.

But generally they are won by the single goal.

when i said kick them all over the park i wasnt referring to beating them i was referring to the fact we have a team of big lumps who love to get stuck in, and literally mean we should be kicking them all over the park. i dont know where the stuff about a hammering has come from. and i even said, i'd settle for a draw so a bit confused to your reply

I’ve lived there twice, it’s overrated. Let’s face it a beach gets boring after a few days however great it looks.
Love Sydney though, up there as the best city in the world, more expensive than London though.

Didn’t we beat you 4-1 at Ninian Park mid 90’s? :old:

Yeah not saying they will batter us 4-0 or anything but think possession shots on goal etc they will.
But as stated above this could be a game where we get amongst them and physically beat them. Hopefully we can get some sort of result

This is what I think may happen

Re: Swansea v cardiff

Probably be a game where Swansea get 80% possession and both sides end up with two or three attempts on goal. Form tends to go out the window in these derby matches, and there is no result that would shock me. If I had to guess the result, I would go with home advantage and a 2-1 score.

Re: Swansea v cardiff

Thu Oct 03, 2019 3:44 pm

Very hard to predict they have had a good start, but we are getting a few players back from injury and improving week on week.

Warnock will take it more seriously than Dave Jones and other Managers he knows the fans will really want to win.

The referee will play an important part, as we have a big strong experienced team and if he lets us bully them we will and that would help, but if he's soft and pulling cards out very early that would give them the edge.

It really could go either way but based on experience and Warnock and the fact we are improving and players are coming back from injuries and hitting good form, I think we will win, as we will be too big and powerful for their little tam from set plays.

Don’t be daft. It is the most liveable place in the world and we are among the richest people in the world. A beach most certainly does not get boring after a few days, unless you are one of the pasty overweight people that have no idea how to surf or enjoy the phenomenal scenery. It’s a place for the beautiful people shall we say ;)
