Possibly, but the fact he said he's a perfect replacement for Gunnarsson and the leader we've been missing in midfield tells me he might put him straight in, but either way I reckon it will be a variation of Pack, Ralls, Bacuna or Vaulks in a 4-3-3.

Also why has everyone discarded Hoilett to the bench? He is a better player than Murphy who is far too inconsistent. Given NML is injured apprantely I would start Hoilett all day long with Whyte and have Murphy on the bench.

How can you say a player who has never played higher than league 2 is better than a seasoned championship player and like Smithies after one game?

What a stupid comment it has no basis whatsoever. Smithies is by far the best choice to replace Etheridge at the moment, it's a no brainer
