‘ New Cardiff City home shirt launched tomorrow ‘

CCFC home shirt, this was sent to me launching tomorrow





After last year's simplistic adidas design of white three stripes on the sleeves and a blue colour palette with minimal fuss, this year's potential new shirt has gone in a different direction.


The three stripes have been moved under the armpits - as they were when Cardiff won promotion two years ago - but the biggest change is the colour of the kit.

Scattered along the clean blue kit is a series of darker blue 'blobs' - for lack of a better word.

This isn't the first time Cardiff and adidas have gone with a two-tone blue kit if this does turn out to be their strip of choice for next season - but the 2015/16 effort did seem a little better constructed than this somewhat random attempt.

Not too bad. Could be worse. At least we've got some kind of design (even if the sponsor logo is awful).

Hoping the away kit is more interesting though.

Looks like an old training top/tshirt to me.

I'm just not a big fan of the dark blue. I prefer a lighter shade like we had years ago. Looks like a Chelsea kit.

Can be saved is it is paired with white shorts.

If the shorts are white then it will be a nice kit.

Personally like it, got a bit of character to it. Nice to have a shirt which isn’t a plain template for once

looks like somebody has mocked up that, the Malaysia name doesn't follow the folds in the shirt. I hope it's not like that though, too dark and those other patches are awful. I agree that white shorts would be good to see again though.

I like it, it's not simple and clean like the last couple of seasons but nontheless i think it's a good looking top. I would do without the black bits on the front looks like it's burned or something.

Would love to see the away shirt, i wonder if they will stick with white or will they have either red,yellow or black for the away kit???

Agreed it can't be that dark surely, we'll have to wait and see it for real!
