Who doesn't want promotion?

While Vincent Tan is still the owner I do not want another promotion to the premier league.

i can't say the thought enthralls me be it with Tan or not.

Forgetting the fact that it's what football us all about. It tops up the coffers even more, may reduce debt quicker and make us ripe to be sold.

im a Cardiff fan, want to win every game, finish as high as possible, and play at the highest level possible...

Why wouldnt anyone want to get promoted? Even if we get spanked 6-0 every game and relegated again. The aim of the game is to get as high as possible, I really dont understand the lack of ambition

I want promotion. I enjoyed last season because despite it all we fought weekly which was a hell of a spirit to get behind. Why wouldn't you want to see your team playing at the highest levels possible?

The day I stop wanting us to win the League, gain promotion and play at the highest level is the day I stop going.

Without Tan you may not have ever experienced 1 promotion to the premier league never mind 2.

I would not say that I would not want promotion, the promotion seasons have been absolutely great, that feeling of being on top of the table and having pride in the team is a great feeling. However there have been times this season when following a battering ( Man U, Man C, Spurs etc) i have felt totally gutted and questioning whether if i should be here, but i keep coming back for more !!!

I dont think whether it was Vincent Tan or anyone else as owner, we would still have the same issues. I will say one thing, Tan is proving to be a solid owner now he has got Red out of his head

I can totally see where you’re coming from, but like a few boys have said we’ll be easier too sell debt free and an established premier league team, who knows what’s in store if we go up and stay up

You are correct and I like you want to win games, but I would like to think we also have a owner who will do everything to stay in the premier league. Unfortunately Tan is not that owner.

I'm guessing you can provide a list of mega rich businessmen who are busting a gut to throw millions of pounds into Cardiff City then. It has made a pleasant change watching a bit of top flight football after spending 50 years watching us in the lower leagues. Would have been great to stay there, but no other owner has taken us close to the top flight in half a century or more. At least Tan's money finally got us there, and what's to say he won't get us back there. Unless you are aware of someone better qualified than Tan who is prepared to make a massive investment in the club, not much point in continually having a go at the only person in my lifetime who has been prepared to throw serious cash at this club.

prior to Sam coming in we had been desperate for investment enough to even make us a solid 3rd tier outfit..
i still went, still enjoyed the promotions never thought whats the point , we could well be going back down again..
now we have fans { not that I believe for 1 second dahboy is a fan } sticking their noses up at a championship promotion..you cant write it..
