New Cardiff Manager

It has been reported that Sir Neil is considering quiting at the end of the season. Who would you want as his replacement.

If Sheffield United bottle it I’d love to see us go in for Chris wilder. Maybe Jokanovic, Karanka, Warburton, Wagner who are out of work could also do a job

I know that Warnock is probably staying now and im delighted with that but im surprised no one has said Alex Neil from Preston. Done a good job in Scotland, got Norwich promoted when they were struggling and has done a fantastic job of bringing in young, hungry, aggressive players at Preston who fight for the shirt whilst also playing some really good football. If ever Neil decides to walk away I think he would be the perfect fit tbh.

After hearing him speak multiple times on TV. I think as an outside shout that Sol Bamba is going to make a good manager.

He has a lot of knowledge about the game and comes across really well.

He could be worth a punt if we get relegated and if he decides his injury is too much to come back from.

In the premier league if Warnock goes we would need someone who is experienced at keeping teams in the league, for me the only man is Sam Allardyce for the first 2/3 years then once established look at a younger manager to move us on

reported by who...?

his latest quotes have been regarding contracts and saying he would like soandso to sign a longer contract etc.
and season friendlies..
the NEXT manager might not want to be tied to NWs players or pre season arrangements..

about 4 threads sprung up for this non story with zero sources.. so I don't think it is.
we are in a relegation battle, our manager has talked numerous times about things to do with next season and today has once again had to take time out to quash a load of crap.
we don't need it..

Well if we only posted on direct quotes this would be a lonely forum but I get your point. Most the stickies are based on articles.

I don't think the article was overally negative just suggesting he might not want to continue, I can't see it having any effect on anything.

I still think his time maybe up at the end of the season.

Please not Tony Pulis i want to enjoy watching football on a saturday mate  more teams in the relegation zone have scored more than Boro this season. Would like Alex Neil, Aitor Karanka or David Moyes. It would be interesting to see if Blackwell could take over from the job Warnock has done.

I’d take Alex Neil or Moyes easily.
Didn’t Blackwell takeover sheff Utd after Warnock?
I think he’d keep us solid :thumbright:
