Good to see Wales win today :ayatollah:

I don’t care what sport it’s in, a win over England is worth celebrating :thumbright: :ayatollah:

BBC

Wales produced a stirring second half to crush England's Grand Slam dream with a record-breaking 12th consecutive Test win.

England had led 10-3 at the interval after 20-year-old Tom Curry's second international try garlanded a brutal defensive display.

But Wales came barrelling back and took the lead with 13 minutes to go when second row Cory Hill smashed over after a relentless series of drives.

And with replacement Dan Biggar taking control, Josh Adams sealed it at the death as he claimed his fly-half's cross-field kick to send the Principality Stadium into ear-splitting ecstasy.

If Wales can beat Scotland in Edinburgh in two weeks' time only Ireland in Cardiff on the final day of the championship will stand between them and a first Grand Slam since 2012.

But this will go down as another masterclass from their coach Warren Gatland, as England were kept scoreless for the last 53 minutes and unable to get close to their form of the opening two rounds.

I was there. Amazing atmosphere. I was having visions of Friday with us being within touching distance and then being thumped. I should have had more faith. A brilliant disciplined display with an easy matching of the English power. Their ball carriers had zero impact on the game. We didn't force it. We looked composed even when behind. England got more and more frustrated as the game wore on allowing our fitness and experience of winning to take over. Gatland will leave some big shoes to fill.

I'm just gutted we couldn't make it 2 out of 2. The late trudge home Friday wasn't as fun as this evening's

All changed for us when Dan Biggar came on

Definitely! The game for him. He looked confident and assured as soon as he set foot on the pitch. That missing link for the effort the players were putting in

I also loved giving Eddie Jones and England a taste of the media mind games they usually love.... Gatland saying that Sinckler is a lose cannon... Sinckler playing a good game before we managed to get into his head, wind him up, and force them to sub him off to avoid the 'lose cannon' status they were scared he'd demonstrate... Followed by the comeback and win for us.. :notworthy:

Fantastic result and performance in the last 20 minutes especially, Credit to England they defended well for periods. Hopefully get the win against the Scots now to set it up for the Ireland game.

I was there, too and Wales 'did a job' on England

No wonder they want Gatland to replace Jones; but a mutual swap is NOT required despite the surname! :thumbright:

Less than 24 hours after our powder puff team got spanked on home soil. If only we were the at the equivalent level of the wales rugby team and getting the crowds they do.

If only 5 teams played the football then we'd have a decent chance of being up the top.

Correct, there's hardly any competition in rugby and now their fans, most of whom got no interest in club rugby will not care about every other international this year cos they've beaten England.

Obviously England will be disappointed they lost on Saturday but they'll continue to laugh at Wales obsession with them, just the same as we do laugh at the jacks obsessing over us.

That's not true is it.

Just because more countries play Football doesn't make it more competitive.

In almost 90 years only 8 countries have won the Football World Cup.

In just over 30 years of Rugby World Cups there have been 4 winners.

And only ten out of 55 countries have won the Euros whereas in Rugby everyone bar Italy has won the equivalent at some point in history.

If anything I would say international rugby is far more competitive than International Football where whilst Football, although played by 100 plus countries in dominated by 6-7 realy, the rest make up the numbers.
