Team news :bluebird:

Cardiff stars Josh Murphy and Victor Camarasa are doubtful for the game, having both missed the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal.

Sean Morrison and Jazz Richards are both longer-term absentees, with midfielder Harry Arter ineligible to face his parent club as he's currently on loan from Bournemouth.

New signing Leandro Bacuna could make his debut at either right-back or central midfielder, most likely the latter if Camarasa misses out.

For Bournemouth, captain Simon Francis is out for the season and both Jefferson Lerma and Callum Wilson are likely to miss out.

Former Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke could make his debut after signing in the transfer window.

Expected Cardiff XI: Etheridge;

NEIL WARNOCK:

“I only want lads who are really ready. We’ve set ourselves a target for the next six games, the games are all important now and I’m sure the teams will all think we’re easy pickings. We could do with a fully fit squad. Morrison is probably a week or 10 days in front of where we thought, he could be four weeks but we don’t want to rush him back. It’s all hands on deck now, I’ve got to pick my best team to get the result we want. They’ve got threats all over the show and we’ve got to hope they don’t perform like they did the other night.”

So far No new injuries for Neil Warnocks team :thumbright: :bluebird:

About AFC Bournemouth

A.F.C. Bournemouth is a professional football club in Bournemouth, Dorset, that play in the Premier League, the top tier of the English football league system. Formed in 1890 as Boscombe St. John's Institute F.C., the club adopted their current name in 1972. Nicknamed The Cherries, since 1910 Bournemouth have played their home games at Dean Court. Their home colours are red and black striped shirts, with black shorts and socks.

A.F.C. Bournemouth have won the second and third tiers of English football, and were twice runners-up of the fourth tier. They have also won the Football League Trophy, and the Football League Third Division South Cup.

Bournemouth have spent the majority of their history bouncing between the third and fourth tier of English football. Under manager Eddie Howe, they have risen through the pyramid; the 2015–16 season was A.F.C. Bournemouth's first ever in England's top division.

The club is currently owned by Maxim Demin, a Russian multi-millionaire involved in the petrochemicals trading industry.

Bournemouth now find themselves in a similar situation as Man City back in December. How can any club prepare for going to a club dealing with a tragedy.

Not an ideal situation for anybody, we felt it against Leicester and now we’re dealing with it ourselves

Arter 10000000% won't be in the squad as it's his parent club

going against the grain here, but comfortable bournemouth win.

they gave us a footballing lesson in the previous fixture. without arter (who himself couldn't get into their team), our midfield will struggle to keep the ball.

Needs a goal desperately but I would go with Zohore with niasse & Reid either side.

We've got nothing to lose now. Maybe Warnock can use recent events remind Zohore life is too short. You are our number 1 get out there and give everything you got. He's not as consistent as rondon & mitrovic but if he could hit a purple patch and it might just be enough.

Cardiff City 1-3 AFC Bournemouth. Been really impressed with Bournemouth this season and feel the pace and movement of Brooks, Fraser, and King might be too much for us.

With this being the first game at the Cardiff City Stadium since the plane Emiliano Sala was on board disappeared, it is sure to be an emotional occasion. Leandro Bacuna, signed from Reading on deadline day, is expected to make his debut as Neil Warnock’s side go in search of a first win in six games. It is hard to know what to expect from Bournemouth. They thrashed Chelsea 4-0 on Wednesday but have lost seven successive away games. Dominic Solanke could make his Bournemouth debut.

Re: TEAM NEWS “ CARDIFF CITY v AFC BOURNEMOUTH “ MATCH THREA

Bournemouth midfielder David Brooks has been ruled out for four weeks with an ankle injury, Sky Sports News understands.

Brooks sustained the injury during Bournemouth's 4-0 win over Chelsea on Wednesday night, after Brooks had scored the second goal on the night, his sixth in the Premier League this season.

The Wales international has been one of the League's breakout stars this season and will be a big miss for Eddie Howe's team.

Bournemouth's next five league games are at Cardiff on Saturday, at Liverpool on February 9th, at home to Wolves on February 23rd, at Arsenal on Wednesday 27th and at home to Manchester City on March 2nd.
