Used to love the FA Cup in the days before PL football. I remember people in work gathering by a radio to listen to the mid week lunchtime draw. Like so many others, I have lost interest in it now, and would struggle to name recent winners. I can take it or leave it. A win yesterday would have been good, but to be honest when the final whistle blew I was not particularly surprised or terribly disappointed with the result. Will be very disappointed if we don't take three points next time out in the league.

they have had a lot of injuries over the last month or so which has seen them drop out of the play offs, nothing to do with getting leicester in the cup. They had to put a new loan player straight into todays team as they were short of players again.

Totally agree. The FA Cup needs a champions league spot to revive it. The winner, of a competitive FA Cup, would be far more deserving of a CL place than a team who finishes fourth!

Their fans by and large totally despise us. I was hoping Leicester would batter them. Fair play to Cewnty though, they deserved it.

You are correct a lot of Newport support Cardiff and vice versa.the time when there was a lot of animosity was when they were plunging out of the league.there support is still pretty poor yesterdays game only attracted 6700 including a 1000 Leicester bad when you consider gwents population is 500000

Work in Newport, for my sins. Trust me, the County fans hate us with a passion. There are a lot of Newport residents who support Cardiff, they get a load of stick off the County fans but no trouble.

In answer to your question, I don't particularly give two shits, I am a city fan only,but wasn't taught hate anybody, never understood the aggro side of this,or any other club,you're upbringing must have been vastly different to mine,hate for a fellow human being,or club in this case,without just cause just seems a little retarded to me but hey ho,each to there own eh .
