2, We stay up and cant compete in a bidding war for his signature as he will be expensive

3, Betis want him back after him showing fantastic form and dont want to sell or loan again

Either way as much as i hate to say it i dont see us retaining him next season unfortunatly. We are very lucky to have him this season.

I thought we would have signed him 1st of january 2019

Reading what NW said I be very surprised if we sign him he's off to bigger club as betis can see £££££ signs in their eyes

Weather wise I thought we had a tidy summer he has' nt seen our snow yet will have to drive him to derby when it start to show him how bad things can get here.

It does' nt say much about how much ambition we have if we don' t sign him so many people saying that we are taking a gamble on players from abroad etc because we don' t know there cv etc well we will have had him all season and are still prepared not to sign a proven quality premier player its like banging your head against a brick wall i despair at our attidude we might aswell just drop to the 1st division playing shrewsbury town and the likes every week

How much would you say he is worth ?

I wish we were making more use of the foreign market than we are.

There must be plenty of other "Victor Camarasa" type players on the fringe of the first team in the European leagues who would relish an opportunity to put themselves in the shop window in the same way that Victor has, whilst improving us at that same time.

We may be trying extremely hard to unearth some more hungry young players from abroad but I'm not too sure that we are. Victor has proven that those types of player are out there if you look hard enough.

Can only do this if the parent club agree and judging by things no they didn't agree so out of citys hands

It was the fact we played real betis in a friendly and words where exchanged from the benches i suspect rather than our foreign scouts if we have any seeking out players.

I agree i think he will be around the £20 mill mark.

The problem is that is our entire January budget gone on a player we already have in the squad for the rest of the season. Meaning we have no money left to strengthen positions we badly need lime a right back and striker.

If we stay up and sign him in the summer it will be half our budget at least on a single player and we will be in the same place as we are now.

If we get relegated we are left with a expensive player on big wages (apparently €65k at Betis)
In the championship.

We are not in a position to pay those prices yet

Absolute class. When he started getting on the ball against palarse it was a joy to watch and took the pressure right off us.
