Do we have one player who could even hit a barn door?

Neil Warnock is a good Championship manager but useless in the Premiership.
Starting with signings, Teams that stay up always get a front man, someone that gets a chance and puts it away.

We have a team that do well in the mid field but upfront we are like a rabbit in the headlights.

I watched todays game, Huddersfield - what i would call another must WIN game.They go down to 10 men and again we can not capitalise on it. Just like against Newcastle, we picked up possession, created more chances but without a front man we never looked like scoring.
These are the easier games and we look like a joke.
Now we can see why Neil Warnock is a Championship manager, he does not have the creative mind to pick a good frontman.

We did not need to spend millions, just buy someone who is good to feed too up front, Some good Welsh youngsters are better than what i saw today.
I can not see us getting 16 points this season, i even worry about us getting the lowest ever points 11 or below - oh dear

Only played 3 games, players getting used to the PL, and two clean sheets. A bit disappointed with our goals scored record, but way too early to jump to conclusions. Knew this season was going to be one mega battle to avoid relegation, and an away point against one of our big relegation rivals is not the end of the world. Our target has to be 17th after 38 games, and we are on track right now. We just need to get those home wins against sides who are likely to in the bottom 6 or 7 with us, and we may just about survive. I can understand the frustration of some fans, but this is a lot better than struggling along in the lower leagues. Have to look on the bright side of things and realise it could be worse, we could be Swansea.

No one is our stand out man that you say give the ball to him.

If we had played well, had a few really good shots on goal and a stand out front man i would be happy, even with a loss as i can see positives. We have all seen those days where we do everything right but lady luck means we do not score.
This is different, We are doing nothing right in front of goal, we do not seem to have a dedicated front man, and we make terrible decisions at the crucial times.
Two games in a row, we could also have been down to 10 men, so we have been riding our luck and i think lucky not to be on 0 points.

One good player up front, then even if defending for 75% of game, when you get that one chance its put away.

Under Malky we were strong with set pieces, Every corner and many free kicks you would believe we would score. With this lot i can not see where a goal will come from.

Agree mate the OP is a clown. We may go down but I think we will surprise a few this season and pick up some
Big Ws at home. I also think this squad will

NO thats the point , we are not taking our chances as we have no one with ability to do so.
Here are some facts
You can not win the game without the ball going into opponents goal
You can not get ball in opponents goal by passing the ball in mid field without someone taking a shot at some stage
Defending alone ( without breaking out occasionally) will not get you a goal

1 pt from the bottom teams with not goals will not keep us up

FFS i would rather see us going for it and have a plan up front with some belief in the team

We have played two teams that will most likely be in bottom half of table and at least one will be relegation rival. Both teams down to 10 men. Twice we were lucky not to be down to 10 too. Etheridge kept us in both games. Even against two lower sides of this league and against 10 men we can not score. Thats a worry.

A lack of effort, a lack of commitment, a lack of professionalism...for these one could accuse a team of being disgraceful...but lacking in quality??

All we can ask of our players as supporters is application and effort...no point in hammering players because they MAY not be of sufficient quality for the Premier League.

A few weeks ago there was a fair bit of praise on here for the signings made given our lack of money. Plenty of fans seemed to be pleased that we had brought in players with pace, and thought it would suit our style of play. I also think most agreed that we needed another striker on loan, but that Zohore would do the business once he was fully fit. Not sure if he will myself, but it is easy to be wise after the event.

Some say we will score 2 against arsenal, If we did and i am not worried about winning the game, scoring twice would be enough for me to admit i was wrong.
I watched the game today and i really never felt we were going to score, something again just did not seem right.
I think its lack of a front man.

I would have been more positive with 2 points if we had been 11/11 but against ten men twice i never saw that chance coming.
Personally i also think we were lucky twice not to be down to 10 men, we need to watch disipline and i feel Arter will be missing during a few games this season because of it. A class player with a hot head.

You come on here and say how you feel, truthfully and you get called not a real fan. I do not see where goals will come from. I think we made mistake in summer signings. Thats what i am seeing. People should argue against it, if they feel different and also please highlight who they think the prolific goal scorer will be.
I think many probably listened to the game rather than watched it. It was not pretty to watch. Huddersfield were better first half but both teams looked poor.

I suspect this was even more of a MUST WIN game for Huddersfield today - A relegation favourite and at home.
We had a harder start to the last premiership season, and had better results
I am angry a Neil warnock as he has been in Premiership a few times and appears not to have learnt anything. A chance maker and someone that puts those chances away are essential. I might be wrong and it all goes well from here on. i just think our dream of Premiership football will be season long only, again.
I do understand that Neil had limited funds, Tan has paid off debt with most of the money. That means basically its gone to him.
Thats left us with a lot of good championship players.

I am a long term fan and maybe my worries are premature and hasty. But i really could not see how this is going to turn around before the next transfer window.

I'm sorry to be harsh here but you need a reality check mate.

11 against 11 we were out played and they looked poor

10 against 11 we had more possession and looked okay mid field but poor with set pieces and in front of goal.

I would rather talk about it now, where we have time to put it right, than end of season when too late.

Im not sure what game others watched , but i could not see a goal scorer today or last week.
Is it confidence? possibly and if it is when a goal comes, it may be the start of many to follow, but right now i can not see where sustained goals will come from.
People are right its 3rd game. However there are much harder challenges ahead. We have no strength in depth if injuries come later so these games we needed 1 loss 1 draw and 1 win from in my opinion, So i am perhaps more pessimistic than others.

Dreamteam why have you ignored my question, how do you explain come Crystal Palace not scoring for 7 games last season and staying up ? Answer me fool.
