I think it’s fair to say this isn’t meant to be a happy clapping Messageboard. It’s not for children to come and read.

I love coming on here for the wide range of topics discussed - not just football related stuff - and the light hearted banter. I don’t like to see people abusing others for all the reasons mentioned in the OP.

However, there are some classic insults which always make me chuckle.

"You know nothing about football" is my number one all time favourite

Apart from knowing that the point of the game is to put the ball in the oppositions net, there are so many variables over 90 minutes that it is impossible to know every possible outcome so it is a Self-fulfilling prophecy
