Gary Madine was in floods of tears in the tunnell following the defeat last night, he broke down in the dressing room
COME ON BLUEBIRD FANS LETS GET BEHIND OUR BELOVED CARDIFF CITY, WE ARE GOING UP

Come on Gary...! Hit the back of the net at Villa!
Sat Apr 07, 2018 7:02 pm
Not nice to hear, i as well as many have been criticizing Madine, but i dont like to hear that, chin up Gary no doubt you will come good.
Sat Apr 07, 2018 7:03 pm
I'm still a bit gutted but it took a lot of bottle to step up and take that pen under that pressure. We will get behind him and the boys again on Tuesday and batter the Scummy Brummies.
Sat Apr 07, 2018 7:11 pm
Needs to start with Kenny on Tuesday nothing like a man on a mission.
Sat Apr 07, 2018 7:14 pm
He should start...! I hope Ralls is back, we need the energy and his simple passing to keep us ticking.
Sat Apr 07, 2018 7:16 pm
I would start him as Zohore has looked a bit sluggish in the last couple of games
Sat Apr 07, 2018 7:19 pm
I hope some on here are proud of their comments.
Runs himself into the ground when he plays

I'll second that.
I still think he needs to be dropped though.

Yes i wouldnt play him especially if his head aint right. He shouldnt of been givin the pen bad choice.

Bench for him. No change.
If needed give him 20 mins. What he's been doing as the battering ram he's been doing well. The assists are there. The goals will come.

What completely from the squad? Seems extreme for missing a pen when we have few other options.
Sat Apr 07, 2018 7:34 pm
Maybe he can be like Stuart Pearce and strike home a “Ive got the biggest bollocks in the world” penalty next time he gets a chance!!!!

Give him a break we are stronger together if Madine would have scored great he would have been a legend,
no mention about Hoillet..he missed..
We move on we will be stronger next time out move on to Villa..Madine might score winner with Hoillet assist..
Sat Apr 07, 2018 8:04 pm
All top strikers hit a wall but it's down to us the bluebirds to rally our troops through the shit . I for one didn't want him to take it but he had the balls to. I believe in the bluebirds to come through it. Let's all get right behind them.

Wouldn’t go that far about being a legend, maybe if he scored the winning goal in a playoff final possibly.

He’s not had the best start to his city career, but he’s not played much and some of the comments are ridiculous. Get behind him Tuesday night and junior, they will need our support. We are all in this together, get behind them he will come good.

Bob just making a point of we should get behind the players...Legend perhaps not..but his ratings would have gone up,we need everyone pulling in the right direction..cheers

Everything will be okay, Madine can score a goal against Villa and let's face it not the best strikers score every time, so I am sure with Warnocks experience he can rally the team up again and go all out against Villa. Onwards and Upwards Bluebirds.

Well he wasn't in the starting 11 so drop him to where?

He's rubbish at this level lets face it.

Not as rubbish as your posts.

Was harsh to watch because he won every header when he came on and no-one gambled off him, he put a lot of effort and we did up the pressure when he came on, I think his run up was showing exactly where he was putting it but Hoilett's penalty was a lot worse than his.
Sat Apr 07, 2018 8:57 pm
No room for sentiment we missed 2 pens, forget about it we still got 6 games there's going to be a lot of twist and turns yet

Got to laugh at a lot of the hypocrisy on this forum.
When someone gets upset by someone making jokes about the Holocaust they should pull themselves together and man up, but if a football player is criticised and gets upset, we should lay off him?!
Football players get criticised all the time, generally up until last night Madine had only received mild criticism on social media and certainly not vocal criticism from the stands.
I can't see that this is true at all - it's hardly the World Cup final! But if it is, I'm not sure what he's doing as a football player if he's that affected that much by things like that?
