UPDATED 06/04/18

Ticket sales now taken down online. Only a few hundred left of those put on sale.

YOU CAN PAY ON THE NIGHT :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

On course for a 30,000 plus crowd, it’s just gone mental :thumbright: :bluebird:

I suggest you get your ticket today as really might not be any on sale tonight :bluebird:

TICKETS STILL ON SALE GET DOWN THERE :thumbright: :bluebird:

Adults £24 & Under 16’s £5 :thumbright: :bluebird:

05/04/18

Told today it’s a case of how many over 30,000 not if we hit 30,000 as walk up will be a couple thousand as its pay on the night :thumbright: :bluebird:

Including Wolves 3,000 fans.

NO cheap tickets. No top premiership team. Live on sky.The fans are here to watch the Cardiff City nobody else.

I have said all along Cardiff City can be a massive club and has a massive fan base and is the biggest club in Wales and many say if they want to come the excuses go out the window. :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

It’s never been any different but a guaranteed successful Cardiff team would pull very decent crowds that even half the teams in the top flight couldn’t match. :thumbright:

Neil Warnock at the helm could do what he did with the Blades and get those floaters returning on a regular basis. Huge game all together tomorrow night and I really hope the fans return for Forest and Reading home.

Sales at this moment, 27,800 approx, our highest League gate for 40 plus years :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Always wondered what kind of walk up crowd we get. Depends on weather, tele, opposition etc

But why wait until the last minute to buy tickets, as there may be none left?

Anyone intending to buy would surely have done so by now?

Probably only 500 ? will walk up tomorrow.

Can’t see 2k on walk up maybe 500 at best. But 30k great Effort

Me too. What makes people suddenly want to be part of it. Once a few want to go, a few more follow. More likely in todays social media world but looking back to the old days what made an extra 20,000 people say, I need to go to that Hereford match. Probably had fewer than 5k season ticket holders so more than 30 k turned up with their readies and paid at the turnstyles. If 30k turned up to pay on the night these days the last wouldn't get in until well after the final whistle.

To the young ones make the most of nights like tomorrow. Hopefully you'll fondly remember them in 50 years time.

In those days the only people that needed season tickets tended to be in the grandstand or the canton stand ( the only 2 seating areas). I never had a season ticket in the 70s, never needed one.

I get the feeling it will be just under 30k but happy to be proved wrong.

Just think there is the back of most of level 5 still on sale and the segregation is quite big.

Think that will equate to a few thousand alone.

Still got tomorrow though.

Plus all of blocks 417 and 517, over half of 416 and 516 are also being held back.
There is also a lot of lower tier segragation on Family Stand side and 118/117 areas

It’s always great to see a big crowd at the City, better late than never
3-1 to the Bloobirds :occasion5:

PS
Annis don’t suppose you know anyone at the club who could get a Hey Jude played before the game, tried emailing twitter etc like a load of other fans but still no delight.

Annis I posted a while back that we are the 4th or 5th largest 1 club city in the country regarding population, therefore if the club is successful (with no red shirt or owner politics) over a short period of time then there is no reason why we shouldn’t sell out the CCS every week.

I reckon if we get promoted and stay in the premiership without getting relegated then the sell out every week is a must.

It is crazy not to play Hey Jude. Who on earth takes that decision?

What is the best email address to use? We should all make our feelings known.

Just a personal thing but I have never been a fan of Hey Jude. Basically it's one of a long list of songs which we have nicked off other clubs.

I'd rather have Cardiff specific song MOH, Pick & Shovel or being radical something brand new

Sack Fatboy Slim immediately. It's naff.

Its going to be awesome .unbelievable to think a game v wolves in the late 80s attracted just over 2000 tomorrow we going to get 30000!.

Re: " I was told today "

Thu Apr 05, 2018 10:06 pm

Friday night and on tv. Just shows we can pull in a decent crowd. Frustrating we haven’t had that throughout the season mind.
Aww well, Buzzing for this game tomorrow. Hopefully bumper crowds for our remaining home games get us over the finish line!

Re: " I was told today "

Thu Apr 05, 2018 10:12 pm

Great that we’re getting a big crowd for this.

Especially as it’s on Sky, so would be easy for people to just watch it at the pub. Great that they’d rather get down to the stadium and watch it.

Now let’s hope we put in a good performance :ayatollah:

Always thought that a good guide to being a 'big' club is getting a 30,000 crowd for a league game, outside the top division. There are much bigger clubs than us in the Championship, but here's hoping.

Thats how I see it, if you can get 30,000 at home your def a big club :thumbright: :bluebird:

Lets hope Forest & Reading are nearly as good :bluebird:

Of the seats actually put on sale I would say that there is probably only about 700-800 left.

Wonder if they will open blocks 417 and 517 or try and keep a segregation as it overhangs the away end a bit.
