I think that’s a very good point.
Don’t think we deserved anything from the game in honesty.

Pilks!

Joe bennett for me he was stand out tonight amongst a poor team display.
Obviously pilks will get it though

Neil Etheridge , stunning saves kept us in the game.
Mon Apr 02, 2018 8:43 pm
Certainly not Grujic
Mon Apr 02, 2018 8:45 pm
Etheridge kept us in it

Any of the Sheffield players!!
Anyone who can even think we had a player that deserves a MOTM award knows F.All about football
Out played in every area and got a result that was never deserved. We have to take it as a gift and say nothing as we were shit.

It’s about picking our best player though
What’s knowing anything about football got to do with it

Neil Etheridge

First time that I have voted for Etheridge as MOM but won it tonight by a country mile.

Bamba & Bennett also had decent games.

Bamba put some very good tackles in for me that kept us in it for me. Landed with that point
Mon Apr 02, 2018 8:54 pm
Etheridge for me.
Mon Apr 02, 2018 8:59 pm
They were all crap tonight apart from Etheridge, he kept us in it and of course Pilks scored the goal to give us an underserved point but he wasn’t on long enough for me to warrant a man of the match so my choice is Etheridge
Mon Apr 02, 2018 9:02 pm
Bennett by a mile for me.
Mon Apr 02, 2018 9:07 pm
wasn't a game for the fancy Dan wingers.....Keeper for me

Agree, I think he’s generally overrated on here. Saying that, most City players were poor compared with Utd.
Etheridge for me as MOM.

Not too difficult only 2 contenders.
Mon Apr 02, 2018 9:34 pm
Etheridge followed by Bennett
Mon Apr 02, 2018 9:35 pm
Very scrappy so Pilks for me
Mon Apr 02, 2018 9:37 pm
Very poor game but Etheridge kept us in it at 1-0 so to take anything from that game is thanks to him. Very solid performance and clear Man of the match.
Mon Apr 02, 2018 9:43 pm
Went for Gunnerson although Etheridge I can understand why most have voted for him. AG lacked support in midfield but did his best to drive us forward
Mon Apr 02, 2018 9:45 pm
Etheridge and that pitch was atrocious.
Mon Apr 02, 2018 9:46 pm
Some extremely average to poor performances tonight! Bennet and Manga were all over the place at the back, shocking at times. Grujic had one of his worst games while Hoilet was off the boil. Etheridge was superb though, and has been since Christmas! I’m still yet to see just what Gary Madine does : / At the moment he looks just like I expected, a league one striker who enjoyed a good few weeks in the Championship.

He’s only 21, and I don’t think we’ve lost a game with him in the side. The lad can play a bit, he’s alright. Bound to have quiet nights. Cracking loan signing, he’s shown glimpses of class. Looking forward to seeing him have a crack at Wolves.

Bamba for me, made countless tackles and last ditch challenges and thought he was brilliant tonight. Etheridge was also solid and made crucial saves. Everyone else was poor tbh, but its a good point.

Etheridge. Prevented at least 2 goals, and probably more.
Bamba, Manga, Grujic, Paterson and Hoilett had poor games by their standards - all at the same time.

Poor performance all round but glad to have the point in the end. Hopefully we wont play this bad until the end of the season. Come on lads blast Wolves away on Friday.

Really don't understand where the criticism of Grujic came from last night, first half he was the only one who could actually keep the ball and play a tidy pass, Gunnarsson was the reason we was all over the place in midfield.

Grujic got criticised last night because he spent the whole game allowing his opponent to bomb forwards past him, leaving Gunnarsson exposed. I was tearing my hair out at the number of times a Sheffield United midfielder ran onto a pass on the edge of our box with Grujic hopelessly trying to track back a good 5-10 yards behind!
