My View / Opinion

CARDIFF CITY AFTER 13 GAMES STILL REMAINED UNDEFEATED AGAINST NEIL WARNOCKS HOMETOWN SHEFFIELD UNITED.

A game which was end to end, with it looking like a defeat, in the 91st min Pilks saved the day and made it 1-1.

Cardiff City are now 10pts clear of Aston Villa :bluebird: :bluebird:

They just never know when they’re beaten!

Amazing scenes as Cardiff claim a point.

The winning run is over, but they’re now unbeaten in 13 games!

Etheridge man of the match :bluebird: :bluebird:

First-half: Over all much of the match was even stevens, with Sheffield United just edging it.

I don’t think we deserved anything from the game, so a point is a very good result.

Goes to prove that the whole squad have a part to play, with Pilks getting the goal. Delighted for him because he never moans about not starting and hasn’t stopped working hard in training all season :thumbright:

Could see it mattered to him :ayatollah:

Never looked like scoring but then we are the king's of late goals great point can be vital as Fulham need at least 3 wins to overtake us with just 7 games left. :occasion5:

Fulham have a 'tester' at home to Dirty Leeds tomorrow and we'll still have the game in hand to boot, whilst Villa now need to better us by four wins in the 7 games they have left, including tomorrows game against a Reading side with something now to prove!

I just assume all those around us (well, Fulham and potentially Villa) will win their next game, so City need to focus over the next week and it will all be a lot clearer this time next Tuesday! :)

"Over all though it was even stevens"

Not sure how you come to that conclusion as they were streets ahead of us lets be honest, that is a great point but at least be fair to the opposition and say we were outplayed but still had the mentality to keep going and get a lucky point that we never deserved.

Credit to Sheffield United getting the game on. Bravo groundsmen, council and Safety Advisory Group.

Thought it had nil nil written all over it at the start. I'd have taken that. 1-1 the same, I'd given up, lucky our players don't!!!!

That's the type of result that earns you promotion didn't play well but there is not a side in the championship with anything close to us in heart and pride

A fantastic point at the end, great save from Etheridge with his feet, but I thought him and Morrison were at fault for the goal, still great fight back, feels like a win :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Sorry for my inactivity been really ill these past 2 weeks.

Solid point in my opinion, still under the radar and reading all the other message boards of our opponents s and can't believe that if we go up we will be straight back down??

If Wolves stay the same they will get played off the park and our style will unsettle PL teams. However I think Leeds will draw at Fulham tomorrow and help outlets push.

Well done City thank you for a continued push.

Second best for large parts of the game, Utd were wasteful. But, it’s snatching a point from the jaws of defeat that is massive for us. That point is huge. I don’t care they were better on the night. Away games in this league are so difficult so Pilks popping up to volley us level is epic. And scoring in injury time will feel like a victory too.....giving some extra confidence vs the Bilston Bulldogs on Friday. A massive result. They don’t know when they’re beaten these boys. Etheridge top man this evening for us. Bluebirds!

Sven was worried about these 3 games whilst didn't think Fulham would overtake us thought could be close! Pressure really on Fulham can't see villa catching us so by sat night could be more clearer as to what we need? At this time 13 points garauntee us promotion

Agree and hopefully this will stop the many on here banging on about promotion all the time.
Who we should buy, polls on promotion, etc, etc. Becoming no better than Wolves fans.
Embarrassing.

Annis whilst people can complain about performance cannot complain at result which in reality is a brilliant one cannot keep winning games and tonight was good result under any circumstances.

I completely agree just take it one step at time otherwise we'll look right tits if it goes pear shaped what players we will be signing in the summer should be the least of our worries let's get there first shall we?

+1 a point away in the Championship, against a top 8 side when it all looked lost - a fantastic result. Massive. Gives players a big boost too going into Wolves.

I agree. Some very jealous and demeaning people out there but we're Cardiff City and we'll take it in our stride! After all, if we achieve promotion, how much worse could it be than last time? ;)
