He's been out injured, was insulted by the manager in some respects with his comments, and now he is on his way back. Give him (Zohore) some leeway instead of 'looking' to put him down. He'll do a job for City in the second half of the season
Keep the faith when others are losing the plot!![]()

Hindsight is a fabulous thing mate. Were you saying that at the time the supposed bid came in because I certainly wasn’t.

Agree but if we sold him for 15m just imagine 8m for a replacement striker and 7m for a midfielder!

If we could use £15M on replacements I’m sure NW would have considered it but it would have probably been more like £1.5M. The days of big transfer fees are over for us atm and I can see the sense in it tbh

Disagree as Tan would have sold him.

He's also a big unit so would be harder to get back to full fitness than a smaller player. I don't think he's worth 15mil but at the time it was right at the end of the window, we were top and it would have sent out all the wrong messages. He's got a world cup to go to in the summer so I'm expecting a big second half of the season off him!!

Fans who have put their faith in Zohore as being the prolific scorer we have been waiting for are probably going to be disappointed. That is just my opinion, and has been for the last year or more. I think he is unpredictable, and has a habit of going missing in games. He can be good without a doubt, but for me he is inconsistent. I do not believe that he is capable of getting any more goals than Bogle over the course of a season if they were to play the same amount of games.
I have always had these views, and so far he has done nothing to change my mind. Take away the first couple of months of last year, and his stats are useless. That's what I mean about his inconsistency. I know that virtually nobody else on this forum agrees with my view on Zohore (or much else for that matter), and he has plenty of time to prove me wrong.

personally i thought he was the key to our early season form. agree about his goal ratio but the way we play is always going to handicap that for whoever you play there.

his 'market value' has dropped as he's been injured, but a strong showing from now until the end of the season and articles like this will soon look silly. we'd still get at least £12m in january if we wanted to cash in, which we won't.

Just shows the over inflated prices of today's footballers. Not arguing about the valuation, but £12m for a player who has averaged 5 goals per season since he has been playing regularly for various sides proves how crazy this game has become.

The guy comes back from injury, is asked to play 4 times in a week in a TEAM struggling and he gets critised, give the guy a break he will come good and get the goals we need to secure a playoff spot.
