Happened at Bristol aswell, we went one down and the bloke next to me gave a seat in front of him a couple of kicks and it snapped in half, the seats were pretty flimsy but nonetheless pretty childish thing to do.

I guess its okay for them because they dont have to pay to replace them

Costs our club and then City will demand more Memberships etc and restrict travel, its bad enough our away support as it is.

We have had NO restrictions for 5 years, lets keep it that way :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Correct Annis, we dont want the minority ruining it for the majority, our fans are generally very good but there are some that will do silly and stupid things now and then, its difficult to eliminate it completely but we need to keep it down to a minimum :thumbright:

Youngsters I'm afraid who thought it would be a good idea to start breaking seats when it became clear that Santa wouldn't be bringing them any presents on Christmas morning.

Pathetic and stupid. Who do they think loses out as a result of their mindless vandalism?

Or aren't their childish brains developed enough to form the relevant thought processes?

Agree but sadly these (usually drunk or drugged) up people are scum in life and not just at the football

Someone saw who did it, yet said or did nothing at the time...or were they standing/sitting on their own? :?

Unfortunately Sven the punishment handed out is not enough to prevent it happening again.

I really do think we as a people have allowed the Liberal thinking to get away with too much of their own thinking.

Sadly, you're not wrong and each generation will get worse as current society do less to stop those in view and the increasingly liberal authorities do less to punish relatively low level stuff like this that allows these neanderthals to go more and more unchecked :(

The point of my post was that the City supporters around them could/should have intervened :ayatollah:

I really don't see what the problem is tho your always gonna have some sort of trouble and to be honest I'd rather a couple of damaged seats than city fans full on rioting or beating up rival fans..

The problem is many on here give every excuse why our support has gone so bad away and I have been saying for the last 5yrs We have No Restrictions and there is No reason why fans can't travel in large numbers

I personally have never damaged property, I see it as cowardly.
Yes I fought like minded lads and No I don't have regrets, I still get slated for it, even though it's over 17 yrs ago. But I did prob less bad in life than the doogoiders, there is No such person whiter than white.

Everyone has skeletons in their closets .

I've always said it the reason why are away support is so shit is because football hooliganism is dead.and I'll admit it's one of the reason I don't go is because there is no entertainment at football games no buzz no kick offs anymore and I know you move with the times but it was the main reason me and so many went away was for a scrap.and it's a reason I and many don't go anymore..

If City took a 1,000 fans away in the 80's, I mean this when I say it,700-800 were up for it.

If we took 150 fans, 100 lads would be included, 2,000 fans and honestly well over half were up for it.

Most of our away fanbase were lads.

But football was always first for me and Cardiff City were everything to me in them days :thumbright: :bluescarf:

I only ever had one reason to go to a match, and that was to watch the game. I enjoyed a good scrap as well, and had 87 of them to be precise, every one of them in a ring. I still think it takes more guts for someone to face one person in a ring rather than only showing a bit of courage when you have loads of mates behind you. A good way for youngsters to burn off aggression, and there are boxing clubs widely spread around for those who like a fight. You never know, give it a try and if you are really good at it, you may even make some money out of it. (Not you personally, I am sure like me you are a bit too mature now for these sort of things, I am thinking more of our younger generation).

There is a dick head element amongst our fans that have started doing this. They were trying to smash seats at Reading too. It will come back and cause us all grief in the end if we don’t stop it. There are always a couple of w@@@@@rs that spoil it for everyone. It doesn’t make you a big man that’s for sure.

There lies the problem and that being the liberal authorities.

I would be quite happy to record these thugs and hand it over to the authorities. The issue I have are the authorities are the weak links here. Accusing them of being toothless is being kind. I rely have no faith in them delivering the punishment my actions would deserve and what most of us want.

I had an issue with a few thugs during the re-brand. I never went to the police although I suggested I did. I got the reaction from these thugs that I expected from their keyboards but in real life it was different. One particular thug could not look me in the face. From this I'm absolutely convinced If the punishment was more severe and well known we would radicate most of this.

Saying that their are some who are beyond hope and should be shot.

Actually, the thought processes, tho’ undesirable, were quite clear..kick seat, it breaks. It’s why they didn’t kick a concrete wall, as they must be aware of Newton’s third law.

I’ll get my coat...
