For me if Wales can get a high quality manager, Nationality should not be important regarding the manager, we need to qualify for the next Euros

whats been said is a Welshman definitely...a foreigner possibly..an Englishman definitely not..
considering half our national team are English and most people either support English clubs or Welsh clubs playing in England with English players and managers it sounds pretty pathetic tbh.

Giggs joke aside (although he would never be my choice) I actually agree

FAW appear to have said Welshman preferably, overseas (or Scottish or Irish) possible, Englishman a non-starter and that does seem a little odd

Surely the best man (or woman) for the job regardless of where they come from?

but has won more Welsh caps than ALL but 2 previous Wales managers..

Thank goodness there will be no English manager for the Welsh nation! We are Wales NOT England. Wales are way better than England and that is true.

But pulling away from that debate, Wales should appoint someone like Tony Pulis with Craig Bellamy as his sideman. I think this would be great, as Tony Pulis is without a club at the moment and would surely relish the opportunity to take charge of Wales?

Thank goodness this chief exec wasn’t around as “our country” went to war against the nazi,s. This fool would have said we can’t listen to Churchill cause he’s English, embarrassment and pathetic towards our nearest neighbours

Correct not very clever and not the way to make friends, isolating themselves.

As an Englishman himself, I very much doubt that Jonathan Ford is being discriminatory. More likely his comments have been twisted. People on here getting their knickers in a twist over nothing.
