14 Villa fans were arrested and have all been bailed


Just been told a few Cardiff have been arrested




Just been told Villa fans got raided today for the trouble in Cardiff in August.

Villa been raided for cardiff. and some of their top lads have been arrested , Cardiff police did it with the co-operation of West Midlands Police.

A Wolves lad just told me.

30 Villa kicked off in the Cornwall after the game police everywhere bad end to an otherwise top day

Just seen the full cctv of this it was very bad violence An will no doubt see plenty of arrests!!Cardiff had maximum 10/15 in the pub An villa a good 30..........villa went to the packet pub after the game An waited there then made their way up to the Cornwall pub to attack cardiff's lads who they'd been in contact with.........not 30 minutes before mind Cardiff had anything up to 100 in there people knocked out An bottled on both sides



I was in there as it's my local,seemed a bit pre planned to me as as you said as soon as it quietened they seemed to appear an attack the place as not 25/30 mins before a lot of good lads headed home or into town!!sadly it's becoming the norm for away fans/lads to go looking to play up in the Cornwall as they still live in the past An think that Cardiff are still a 'scalp' An have this massive hooligan element still......idiots!!hence why there's a big big effort by the police to close the pub down An it's looks very very likely to happen in the near future sadly

Went to the cornwall, for a celebratory beer or two, with my 9 year old boy , after it quitened down a bit, the place got attacked by 20 or so villa fans, what a bunch of cunts . Did anyone else see this.

I left about 20 mins before it happened. I'm kinda glad I did because God knows what I would have done had I been there and got charged. I don't look for trouble but when you got a group charging you what else are you guna do? I'd be stuffed now, job, everything gone!

I think it's a safe bet that some of your lads will be nicked over it.

Apparently Villa came to the pub looking for it.

But as usual police the police will prob just charge everyone.

Its my local fella ive seen the cctv an a friend of mine got nicked an released today with no charge brought.i was the one that as you said alluded that its a mugs game and it is,cardiffs role in it was simply defending themselves from an attack an hour after the game had finshed so the villa lads got to take their medicine unfortunately.also no 'grassing' on the thread as you put it simple facts fella all charges put out were for affray an section 18s!!have a good weekend mucca

You are correct. It is highly unlikely that any internet post would be any use in court unless it could be proven that the person who made the post is someone who is accused.

The problem lies because the thread helps piece together various missing links for the OB & the CPS. Even if things are not true or inaccurate, if it sounds damning for the defence, it becomes a good idea to use it.

There will be plenty of time to talk about it after the court cases if people are really that interested in it.
