' COME ON CARDIFF CITY FANS '

Cardiff have been given over 2,300 tickets for this Saturdays local derby match away at Bristol City only 40mins drive and NO restrictions at all :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Bristol City sold their full away allocation at Cardiff City stadium(Over 2,000) on a Friday night live on Sky last October, so lets show them we can do the same :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

" SO COME ON CARDIFF CITY FANS THERE ARE 500 TICKETS LEFT "

You can go by car, train or coach :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I would call the early kick off time a restriction.

Ok but I can drive from where I am staying in Cardiff in 35-40 mins to Ashton gate, leave 10.30am :thumbright: :bluebird:

Plenty of Cardiff going on the trains and they are happy :thumbright: :bluebird:

But how about if it was on a Friday night(Friday traffic) and live on Sky tv?

There's restrictions on the coaches as well.

Spoke to Vince Alm and he says No,They've just asked him if he wants to be escorted in the last mile to the ground.

Same happened when I went on the coach there last season, we got there at whatever time we wanted to :thumbright: :bluebird:

Well we are driving up,having breakfast first in Cardiff and plenty of time to spare :thumbright: :bluebird:

Vince said he would love us to get over 2,000 fans and I would so I am pushing like mad, like I do all our away games :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Annis, independent coaches have to be at the RV between 10am and 10.30 or they will be turned back.

Those are the facts mate.

Lets really be honest, we need to stop making excuses for ourselves, its starting to look pathetic.

When we were in the Premier League, it did not matter if it was live on tv,night game, early kick off we sold out for virtually every away game and I know, you know and everyone else knows if you really want to go,you will make it,except for personal ties or family reasons etc.

Very very cheap to share cars thats what many many are doing including us :bluebird: :bluebird:

How come virtually every club sells out for their away local derby games, from Non League,to Div 1,2,Championship ect?

How do they know who is in independent?

I went on Carls coach last year and we just rolled up when we wanted, a police motorbike took us in one mile before and the Supporters groups are doing exactly the same this year :thumbright: :thumbright:

Just spoke to Vince, All the Bristol City coaches that came to Cardiff were escorted in, the rest of their fans came by cars, minibuses and train.

Totally agree with You Annis, but like I said yesterday them days are long gone and that is also a fact. Actually driving Saturday, takes me about 45 mins to Ashton gate. Even last year with the RV it was simple, few beers and back in the pub in the village 3.15 and home for final score.

While I appreciate some have issues with times etc, personally never made a difference to me what time ko is. Could play at 5 am. If am going am going. Boro away in the quarters we left at 4am.

All clubs that come to Cardiff nowadays with fans on coaches have to accept to be escorted in by our police.

We use to have it at every away game, now 95% of clubs we visit now don't make us :thumbright:

But honestly Vince and co are volunteering to be escorted the last mile so their coaches are not attacked,if you call that restriction, well thats your opinion, I don't see it as one.

I was one of the worst on Carls coaches to demand the police to stop RVs at away games as it was ruining our away days times/places etc way out.
Thankfully its now stopped.

In my opinion,to be honest this match should of been sold out ages ago.

It is disappointing but I wouldn't let it bother you, it is what it is, those that go just enjoy the trip

What I find intriguing is that hardly any tickets have been sold since Sunday, the way that played out with the performance and the Managers comment's after the game might have had a bigger impact on our wider fan base than we realise.

Crazy to think that just a few years back the allocation would have been sold out in a day or two, and you'd see a string of around 30 or more coaches escorted through Bristol into a hostile atmosphere at Ashton Gate. This is the only derby game we have left and nobody seems to give a toss anymore.

I'll be there! Blue armaaaaay!

Fact is a lot of fathers are tied up Saturday mornings ruling out 12pm kick offs. If that's pathetic sorry.

That fact must be the same for every clubs fans in the Country then

Sorry didn't realise every club in the country had a 12'I clock kick off I must have missed that.

No they don't and as you have seen when most clubs times have changed for derby games, they all still sell out as I have put on here many times.

Bristol Rovers vs Bristol City is their derby.

Only City fans over a certain age see Bristol as a derby game many see Swansea as our derby.

Either way as said you say 'no restrictions" yet:

12 o clock kick off has restricted many

And

Coaches havtto rendezvous with the old Bill.

Not looking to argue I'm just sick of these kinda posts knocking City fans all the time. It's bad enough getting stick from away fans about our "library" Without other City fans clamering to be labelled fan of the year or "I'm a better fan than you"
