Also, to slightly defend Bennett (although he did have a mare), I believe Warnock got it all wrong today. The full backs had 0 support and we're left 1 on 1 too many times, a player like their winger should be doubled up on but Warnock didn't identify that before the game or change it early enough.
That aside, I thought the general desire and effort was piss poor. But it was half expected after what Warnock said about this fixture the other day wasn't it?

It's not the score that appalled me it was the team performance over all and the majority are first team players on a lot of wages.
If I was Neil Warnock I would want rid of the majority of them, even Joe Bennett who has been quite solid so far this season looked like he did not want to be out there.
Rickie Lambert biggest waste of money this season, I don't just mean to single two out as the majority of City players were awful.
New signing Halford was today, virtually a waste of space, hopefully we will see a massive improvement in him, but going by today no wonder Rotherham gave him away.
How was an ordinary Fulham was able to control the game so easy?
There was no fight, passion, togerthness and it was as though they never wanted to be there?
I AM SHOCKED AS THATS NOT LIKE A NEIL WARNOCK TEAM?

Mr Shed wrote:I think that's harsh on Bennett. He was outplayed by a far more skillful player. Plus he had no support from Harris early on. Second half we had about 5 players around their right sided player and just about managed to hold him off.
They played a very high defensive line which didn't suit us as lambert isnt a runner. Zohore would've done far better in that role today.
I think our fault lied in the wings today. Harris and Pilks could not beat their men. But neither could Noone or Huws when they took on that role late on.

So many players were swanning around with no intensity or aggression and allowed Fulham to do as they pleased. The likes of Pilkington also gave us nothing and showed why he is not a regular. I only hope Halford can dramatically improve. He certainly doesn't look like a midfielder after that!
Thankfully It will be a very different team and mentality against Bristol.

Seems to be turning out to be more disastrous than Ole and that's saying something.

Jack, they can say what they want, there was no need for City to play that bad, it's not the result,it's the diabolical performance.

I included Mark Harris mate because Warnock is the one who has offered him his first pro contract so technically he is a Warnock signing in my eyes but I guess that is open to interpretation.

Bennett was left exposed to a very fast player even mamba would have struggled one on one with him!
