Thought it was quite obvious why it was locked would you post a message on their board while watching city game? This board does not need a troll from Swansea trying to bait city fans on here.

Personally I think the forum should have a policy of banning posters from other club who come on to gloat especially during a game. Most other forums do it.

I disagree with that. I have been saying all week we shouldn't be mocking them on such weak ground, because usually on football boards its the people who give it out are the first to complain when they get it back - and it will always come back to bit you on the derrière. Now look, they are out of the relegation zone in the Premier league and we are in the relegation zone in the Championship, it now looks ridiculous all but a week later.

This season in particular, this board has been full of Swansea threads and stickies mocking their current plight, so we can't just ban them or lock their threads because they give it back. Best way to combat your rivals is to mock them on solid ground (so something that is genuine and longstanding, not something that can change week to week or spurious in nature) and when they post on here don't bite. Their threads will soon float down to the bottom.

I would make an exception for the Jacks but mainly keep it to regular posters and not newbies.

For the rest of your post I was accused of being a Jack by the likes of Wez talking what you are talking above. It is far too early to gloat and if the Jacks manage to pull themselves out of it, they are quite capable of doing that, then there are goin to be quite a few with egg on their faces on this forum.

The jacks who post under their normal usernames are fine, i quite liked Swansealad 69, its the roathie multi's that wreck this board.

Probably 2 on this thread alone.....

Re: Why lock the jack thread

Yes I have agreed with an awful lot of what you have said over the last week or so. Anyone who shows a bit of a level head or gives some rationale is called a Jack, very boring. Agree they can certainly pull themselves out of it, January will be massive in terms of what investment they get. I personally still think they will go down but won't be shouting it from the rooftops, and in fact not even sure I want them relegated. As a fan of the National team I think it would be a shame for our young players to see the Premier League as unachievable again and woukd rather us show the ambition to want to join them rather than hope for their demise to our level.

As for Jacks posting, they should be monitored. If they are trolling and not adding to the board then then should be warned then banned if no improvement. This ProudJack is teetering close to the edge on that one, but he has been involved in some healthy banter so maybe I am being harsh.

I don't think he has any multis at all. Genuinelly. It's the people going around calling everyone jacks and roathies are what wrecks the board. The mods can see everybodies IP addresses so know the score.

Roathie used a proxy hence his usernames had different IPs.

I user to copy his IP and use a tool to find out the location. When you had 3 or 4 usernames coming from a location like Chicago it gave the game away.

However I did upset a genuine user known as James who decided to use a proxy somewhere in Germany. The guy bawled a river when I banned him thinking it was Roathy.

Proxys should not be allowed IMO

I did reccommend a way to stop proxies. Not sure if it was tested out or not.

Yep and my suggestion recommended putting a script within the system file of the server that blocked proxies. That would have stopped him using proxies which is 99% of his ways of disguising himself onto here. That would have left him using his only IP address of which would have finished him off.

And this thread has become a prime example of what I was saying. Utterly thread ruining, utterly boring and frighteningly paranoid. These cause more damage than the likes of Proud Jack.

How witty. Get back in your padded cell polo. I cannot grasp how some on here get through day to day life with such paranoid tendancies, I really can't.

Myself
Dogfound
Scandanavianbluebird
Charlie Harper
Proud Jack
Any more?

List off the top of my head that the chuckle brothers have continually trolled over the past few days in their paranoid quest. Many of which have been posting at similar times. Would be very entertaining to ask a mod to run a check on all of them to show how these paranoid idiots are ruining threads and as a result, the forum.

I hope your goodbye means you are going outside for a while. Jesus fkn Christ man.

Yeah cos that can't be so done can it Roathy.

You're too transparent me old son. I'm sure the mods will ban this one soon enough then you'll go crying via email that they were not you

The logic that the mods can check if they are genuine IP's with a click of a button, moron. How do you propose the same person posts from different places at the same time on genuine IP addresses? And that is only the usernames accused in the last 2 days, i am sure there is more. Get in touch with science, they would like to hear from you

I've been posting nearly a year old bean and have contibuted more to genuine discussions on here than you could dream of with your inane paranoid obsession. Keep wishing.

I'll check now to clarify. What's your ISP? Just to confirm? You can DM it to me if you wish?
