SHOCKING BAMBA ' IN A GAME FULL OF MISTAKES AND TERRIBLE CONDITIONS /SENDING OFF '

http://www.annisabraham.co.uk/2016/12/1 ... nding-off/

This game was played in terrible conditions, with both sides continually making awful mistakes.

Sol Bamba got himself sent of for scuffling and one point totally lost his head pulling players to the floor, could get a 3 match ban :o

Sol Bamba pushed an Ipswich player, then pushed his own Cardiff players, pushed his own physio, then pushed fourth official and then pushed Neil Warnock :o :o

Shocking by Bamba and deserved to be sent off.

SOL BAMBA TODAY EMBARRASING FOR CARDIFF CITY/WAIT TILL YOU SEE THE VIDEO

BUT THANKFULLY CITY GOT AWAY WITH A DRAW/BUT NO THANKS TO BAMBA.

WELL DONE NEIL WARNOCKS BLUEBIRDS :bluebird: :bluebird:

IPSWICH T 1 CARDIFF CITY 1 :thumbright: :thumbright:

City: Amos, Peltier, Bennett, Bamba, Morrison, Connolly, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Hoilett, Harris, Lambert.
Subs: Wilson, Manga, Richardson, Ralls, Noone, Pilkington, Zohore

Crowd 15,042
Approx 200 Cardiff fans(incl 50 comps) have made the trip.

Cardiff City started 4-4-2 :bluebird:

About 200 plus City fans made the eight hour round trip to unpredictable Ipswich Town, for me personally I felt we could get at least a point here.
Warnock started with an exciting/pacy line up, with Junior Hoilett and Kadeem Harris supporting Rickie Lambert :thumbright:

Both teams played in terrible conditions and both were making terrible mistakes, thankfully in the 38th minute
there was great play from Gunnarsson who headed into the area before forcing a save from Bialkowski, who then dropped the ball and it was 0-1 :bluebird:

Gunnarson had also been every where and solid as usual :bluebird:

The real threat against City was ex City player Tom Lawrence who was all over Cardiff, Ipswich will feel hard done by going in
0-1.

Ipswich were making plenty of basic errors and the home fans were getting on their backs.

Ipswich player were booed of at half-time by their own fans

Half-time Ipswich T 0 Cardiff City 1 :bluebird: :bluebird:

The rain continued to pour down and made conditions terrible to play,Gunnarsson and Bennett continued to play well and both were the backbone for City today,

In the 52nd min a Luke Varney deflected effort at close range 1-1
Whitts did not look happy and it looks like he blamed Ben Amos.

In the 58th min Craig Noone and Anthony Pilkington replaced Kadeem Harris and Joe Bennett.

It really was one way traffic for most of the second half to Ipswich.

70th min City had a few minutes of attacking football then NO Sol Bamba gets himself sent off

Warnock had to be restrained,Bamba got himself involved in a scuffle.

Neil Warnock reacted to Bamba’s red card by withdrawing Rickie Lambert, he was replaced by Bruno Manga.

City now had their backs to the walls.

But City had a couple of chances in the injury time :bluebird:

Warnocks press interview is going to be fun.

A well earned point under the circumstances.

Bamba let us down badly. Noone has always frustrated me and did again at the end.

But we need to start winning.

Lost it

Sol Bamba completely loses it. He gets in a scrape with David McGoldrick and has to be restrained by Neil Warnock on the touchline. He’s sent off, a complete rush of blood to the head and it could cost his team dear.

Red card!

Sol Bamba is sent off after reacting to a challenge.

Does Bamba needs to take a long hard look at himself?? After all he was the weak link for us today!

Im wondering if he perhaps is having a break down as to react like that is not the reaction of a rational man! I don't know wheather to be angry or concerned???

Perhaps he needs some time off!

From BBC

Bamba loses his head
Ipswich 1-1 Cardiff

BBC

Oh my goodness, Cardiff defender Sol Bamba has lost the plot at Portman Road.

He's shown a red card for lashing out and then tries to take on everyone including the fourth official and his own manager Neil Warnock.

I'm sure we'll hear more about this as the afternoon unfolds. Bonkers.

RED CARD! Sol Bamba is sent off as he totally loses his head and tries to fight numerous people in the ground, including the fourth official

I dont know what warnock said to him but it just seemed by his body language that he wasn't listening. Warnock is a tough old man but he is still and old man and Bamba should not be striking him or anyone for that matter it is bang out of order!

I suspect that Bamba is a man who has had alot on his mind though and Goldrick said something to push him over the edge!

I have had it where I have had loads on my plate and some pillock does something stupid and you just lose it! It happens but it cant happen in profesional football or any job for that matter and he needs the ban for his own protection! If I was that stressed out I would have to avoid stress for a while as it is dangerous to keep putting yourself in it when your that close to the edge!

He could be a victim of his own success as he probably feels he cant step away because he has been such an asset to the team.

Lyn, it will be interesting how long Bamba gets banned for and interesting in what Warnock says publicly ?

Not the first and won't be the last player to lose it and got what he deserved. But having watched the video he did not push the 4th official but did give him a mouthful of abuse in a threatening manner. The rest of it was handbags and again nothing on the video shows him pushing any player to the floor. Let him serve his ban and move on I say.

Loved NW getting him by the scruff of the neck and giving him a bollocking. Just imagine what he is getting in the changing rooms.

I watched the video again and it looks to me like Douglas Bishop elbow's Bamba but judging by the way Bamba reacts as he walks off pointing towards his knee he thinks he has been kneeded and knocked to the ground.

Perhaps he thought the challenge was alot more dangerous than it was and thats why he reacted so angrily at the officials and when he felt nobody backed him up he lost it? Bishop looked like he was hiding behind the referee in fear of Bamba in the video!

Warnock did tug his jersey near his neck but it looked like he was trying steady him and snap him out of it to me! Its hard to see what was going on in his head and I could be miles off but thats what im making of it at the moment. :?

Have a day off, ye he's in the wrong but at least he shows he's got a bit of passion, he seems like a honest fella, garunteed he'll apologise. I love warnocks reaction too, he clearly hasn't lost his appetite.

Re: SHOCKING BAMBA 'IN A GAME FULL OF MISTAKES AND TERRIBLE

Yeah. Warnock said it's a bad challenge on Bamba and blamed ref. He obviously sees it as someone trying to break his leg and made him furious and ref could have dealt with it better. So he's obviously support Bamba so let's show him the support also. Like man u with Cantona etc

It's the sort of thing that happens in a Warnock side
He was a bit pissed off I think

There is a good chance he will now be missing until possibly the middle of february if he goes to the african cup

Sol Bamba will have to do a lot wrong to persuade me to dislike him after his debut winner vs them red Wurzel lot.

Well pointed out. Despite losing a player is extreme circumstances the rest of the team showed enough spirit to hold on for a good away point. That would never have happened a few months ago.

Luckily we have a few good centre backs at the club so Bamba's suspension shouldn't impact too much.
