Not to put a dampner on things but Hoilett and Chamakh are mercenaries with terrible attitudes. Should be good enough to get out of this mess though. I beg the club not to give them huge wages on a four year contract because that spells disaster to me.

Two years at most please with sensible wages.

I hope so too.

The only gripe I have is why the club couldn't have just got Warnock in first as last, he could have got his own people in and they'd be up to speed by now.

All good singing these players but without a pre season they'll be a good few weeks getting up to match fitness. Why Cardiff didn't just bite the bullet in the summer instead of going for Trollope and getting us into this mess is beyond me.

Sense at last by the club and well done but a realistic play off place is beyond us this year I feel, I'd love us too but cannot see it.

I feel excited again and hopefully we'll get a massive crowd to give our new boss a massive welcome. :bluebird: :bluescarf:

Warnock has changed FFP to FPF. Find Players Fast. Blokes a legend already.

Hasn't Sol Bamba signed for Derby?

Don't think I'd want Chamack tbh

Hardly prolific but if the manager thinks he can work with him as he's played for him before then let's see what happens.

To be honest I'd much prefer Chamach to either Fred or Zohore!

Could be very good at our level as all his previous experience in this country has been in the Premiership.

Low wages big goal bonuses would be good

Chamack like ronaldo compared to Fred and zahore. Somebody has had a change of heart with the finances, I agree sensible contracts as we are only now getting over the last problems.

this is reminding me of the old days. Signing players with baggage but loads of talent, with a manager skilled in unleashing them onto the pitch. :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Not signings that set the world alight, but by God do they feel like superstars compared to some of the names we've brought in recently. I'm feeling good about this, guys.

happy with Hoilett still at 26 could be very very decent and can operate on both flanks

Chamakh i wouldnt be so keen in and would rather he looked at veteran nolan if hes looking for that type of player in the middle who can bring a bit of grunt to the team. although i wouldnt say we need anyone in midfield.

id love to see Yesil (22) come in up front if not to add pace to Lamberts power.

and although ive been happy with Amos - a goalkeeper would be up there too!

Since when has Chamakh been a Nolan type centre midfielder?

He's a forward who doesn't score many goals like we already have

At least Chamakh scores goals unlike Fred and Zohore

Think your a bit confused mate, chamak is a striker not a tough midfielder.

He's been training with Derby but I don't think he's signed.

This is from 26 September:

Got to be fair all 3 not inspiring - Warnock should look for an ex leader for this club.

Get out of the bottom 3 - look at the Jan transfer window and move on up .

Good Luck NW :bluescarf:

He can play both up front and behind in a mid position generally attacking

Warnock likes to get some of his ex-players into a new club so that he has eyes and ears that he trusts.

That always used to be the Paddy Kenny job - but he is past it now.

He has had Connolly and O'Keefe in his teams before, but maybe he wants to combine free agent quality with voices he trusts?

The centre back situation is strange. Going into the summer it was our strongest position with Connolly, Manga, Morrison and Turner backed up by Ajayi and Oshilaja - with Peltier able to cover there too. Whether 3, 4 or 5 at the back that looked loke a very strong core. But with Turner released, and Oshilaja on loan - then Connolly making mistakes and Manga looking only half interested (his mistakes at Burton were the main reasons for their goals) it doesn't look as good any more. I'm not convinced by Morrison as captain (not sure he will always start either) and I hoped Ajayi would break in this season, but maybe Warnock has been watching the tapes and doesn't like what he has seen - and wants an experienced club captain out there?
