" My Opinion on Cardiff City's New Manager "
Personally I've been a big fan of Neil Warnocks for many years and if we can stick with him from day one, even if results don't go our way straight away, stay up this season and build from there with a real challenge for promotion next season.
Not a bad squad to start with and if Warnock can add 3 or 4 players to Cardiff City's squad in January, you never know we might even make 6th this season.
In My opinion Great Appointment for Cardiff City and our Diehard fans, now lets get 20,000 plus crowds
Love his straight talking.
His attitude.
His Passion.
Inspires players.
Digs deep when it really matters and gets the best out of even ordinary players.
Tough talking manager who carries through with what he says.
He stands by his principles.
Will do it his way,no one elses way.
Neil Warnock's record speaks for itself 7 promotions and saved other clubs from relegations

SO LETS ALL BE POSITIVE & BACK OUR MANAGER & TEAM 100% FROM NOW TILL MAY 2017

I did email the club the day after the Charlton game at home when we limped over the line getting promotion to sack MM and get NW in.Better late than never I suppose although had they listened to me,they would have saved the club a huge sum of money.
PS hope some of you are raking it in on my predictions of City games. The last 5 results and scores have been 100% although my last one I got the score wrong 1-3 to Burton.
PPS pile money on Man Utd winning the Champions League in 3 years with Mauricio Pochettino as manager.

totally agree warnock has been my choice for years love his passion and no nonsense interviews doesn't pass the buck at any times I'm excited about this season not saying we will make the play offs but he's been given a two year contract and I can see a big push next season

Cant wait to see him in the face of the linesman and his after match comments!

Brilliant news, I can't wait for the Bristol game to see what passion he brings to our team. I hope to go to the Villa game now we have a proper manager in charge.

We can't ask for a better appointment in my book, now it's time for everyone to get behind the team and to get back at the stadium

even if it did get worse this season, next season watch us fly.

Warnock is one of a few managers I would have wanted who I feel have the nous required to get us out of this plight. I think this season is all about consolidation now. Put the foundations in for next season. I also want him to look to invest more time and energy in the youth set-up. I feel that has been neglected for a number of years now. He has never been afraid to give youth a chance so he would be a good manager to do it.
Fair play to the board, it seems they have finally got a decision spot on. I think it is now the responsibility of the fans to just do what they can to get behind the team on and off the pitch but there is still work to be done elsewhere. More connectivity with the fans must be established. More community events, fan days, and special events to show the club cares and listens. We are a simple bunch and it doesn't take a lot to keep us happy.

So, great choice for avoiding relegation, supposedly..
But is it a great choice for the future? Feel Warnock is past it, and won't stick around for long. Gives the board
Time to get another manager in though. And love to see a few of the players get a long time coming kick in the butt. But City is still in search of an identity imo.

Ordinarily, I would probably agree with you. I've felt he's become a bit less fiery over recent years but he did a cracking job at Rotherham last season and it's been well-documented he's always liked the idea of managing us. I think he will see us as his last big hurrah and even though I don't think he'll do anything more than get us promoted I think he is one of the best shots we have of success in this division right now.

Warnock will give us an identity kick and rush yellow cards tackles and plenty of passion lets be having it!

I also think that Warnock's appointment and style will contribute to the return of the clubs identity. Let's give him a massive welcome at the Bristol game and get behind the team. Exactly the type of manager and character we have been calling for since the OGS disaster. Should have been done seasons ago but good on the club for making this happen so quickly.

Will be interesting to se what he can ignite at the club. I'm glad everyone is so optimistic, and finally feeling a little buz. But I don't believe there is promotion on the cards. Club needs to stop going old school- newschool ever time they change a manager though. Find some continuity. Onwards and upwards, and exiting to see what he can bring .

How about Warnock straightens out the mess we're in over the next season and a half then becomes a football advisor for the new up and coming manager who he's groomed over the couple of season he's been in charge. Maybe Rowberry or who knows Bellamy may be interested in the role with a man with Warnocks experience in the background.
Wed Oct 05, 2016 12:20 pm
I wish we had got him years ago wish him well let's he got another promotion in him he's been a good manger over the years
Wed Oct 05, 2016 12:21 pm
I agree.
I trust Doubtfire to identify the problems within the team and address them, well the ones he can anyway.
He can certainly improve our tactics, formation and motivation. It is such as shame that the emergency loan window is not available to him as he would have already been lining up someone with pace. Saying that he knows the game and players well enough that he could get a free transfer in.
We got what we want. A decent and proven manager at this level and someone who is his own man. There will be not buckling under any pressure from the board, he'd walk first. So let's get behind him fully.

Guess so. When you compare his Cardiff record to our past managers he has'nt lost a game yet. Has'nt won one either though.

Can't wait for the Bristol City game now, let's see everyone get behind him and the team. At last the hierarchy have come to their senses and brought in a top notch manager. Think people who have not been going should come back and show Neil how much this club means to us. I can't see many dismal displays now! Look forward to seeing him have a rant at the linesman, referee and 4th official, he shows passion let's show him OUR passion for the club!

Steady on, let's get out of the bottom 3 first.
Most of the fixtures coming up are hideous.
We stand a better chance now surely though than with Trollop.

I`m chuffed the club has come to its senses and appointed Neil Warnock as our new manager. He`s obviously got the experience of the Championship and I don`t think it will take him long to see the workers from the shirkers, with better drills in training etc. The future suddenly looks brighter, Croeso Neil Warnock.

Exciting! Here we go!
Wed Oct 05, 2016 4:06 pm
Just the type of manager we need. Huge Championship experience and the goal right now is to avoid relegation and I'm very confident Warnock has the credentials to achieve just that.
Perfect appointment, looking forward to our next game already!
Wed Oct 05, 2016 4:21 pm
I'm betting he'll set a record for number of touchline bans.
Wed Oct 05, 2016 5:00 pm
This is the perfect fit and could actually be the moment that the club starts to turn around. A manager that the old faithful can finally get behind. Lets hope all at the club (Wayne Nash) buy into Warnocks passion and lets the supporters in the stands show real passion and get behind the team. The Bristol City game, is now something to look forward to. I'm a ST holder and have not been to a home game yet, just haven't been able to muster the enthusiasm to travel down! I have just booked my hotel for Friday night! Cant wait!

Hopefully it's not just til the end of the season and he stays next year
Wed Oct 05, 2016 5:32 pm
Everyone seems to be positive and excited over this announcement myself included. a proven track record, however he will need us fans to be patient, he needs to steady the ship first, and hopefully we will start to move up the table so everyone do what supporters are supposed to do, SUPPORT THE BOYS no matter what
