Even if we just do what he wants play up to his ego so we get what we ultimately want in the end it's no quick fix but maybe if us fans can pull in one direction then we can use him to get our club back. Because currently things are going from worse to worse.

It depends on how you define rotten.

If you believe there is widespread corruption eating away at our club then then I disagree if that is your definition of rotten.

If you believe that the owner and senior management are culpable in allowing our club to fall apart in almost every area then I would agree, rotten.

However, on the footballing side of things I think that Trollope needs to take the blame. Here is a guy in his interview convincing the owner and CEO that he wants to develop a style of play and piggy-back off the success of Wales getting to and at the Euros. He wanted to bring us fans together and capitalize on the Welsh feel good factor, togetherness and system.

I imagine it was a compelling pitch and of course led to his appointment.

Due to lack of 'footballing' knowledge on the board they went along with his pitch and of course he was a cheap option.

Sadly Trollope has misfired in almost all areas. He has done little or nothing to address the lack of pace in the side. He mainly sticks with his favorites despite non-performance, players who were marginally delivering for Slade are now going even further backwards, formations that don't work and a team that looks demotivated.

One point that I should mention is that our whole summer recruitment campaign was based on developing the Welsh system at Cardiff. It didn't work and now we are wondering what formations Trollope is playing... certainly the players are confused... it is ab absolutely sack-able offence , imo, that we don't have a left winger or a pacey striker.

Anyway, whether our club is rotten remains to be seen. But I am astounded that I am saying that... a Trollope team is far less entertaining and effective as a Slade team... and that takes some beating.

This club was followed for years by the working man who got paid Thursday and bought his ticket home or away on a Friday. As soon as we reached the premier them supporters were shit on and the loyal fans of 30 odd years who couldn't afford a season ticket were left out in the cold. Now the club are begging for those fans to return but the reality is a large number of them have moved on and found other things to do on a Saturday

Martin, Without a doubt it was,but we then had a squad worth £millions.
Before Tan came we always in debt, but Never this much and what we did have was fans still passionate and would do anything for our club, sadly thanks to Ran we have lost many of them.

The Valley Rams etc told him to change our badge, I was fuming and Refused to ever buy anything with that Badge,Sam kept saying buts its for Wales/St Davids etc, We agreed to disagree.

As to the finances, when Sam took over we were totally going No where, Division 4 and a Ninian Park needed big money spending on it, crowds of 4,000-7,000, No one would even come near Cardiff City and I know you were there in them days, so some honesty from you.
