not sad, expected and the first 39 minutes live on sky is not going to get them back!

How do my posts keep disappearing or changing?

Re: " TODAYS CARDIFF CITY CROWD SAD TO SEE "

Usual attendance now, not much different to what we are used to. Game is also on Sky, and quite a lot of family activities in Cardiff today.

I have almost forgotten what the protesters are protesting against

Oh yes, not being in the premier league

Hmmmmm

I don't get what the issue is. Our attendances have always been around 12k at championship/league 1 level.

In a 35k Stadium there is obviously going to be empty seats

There is not much to entice fans. The standard of football is appalling

Would improve if keyboard warriors stopped pumping their gums on here and got down and supported the team

These sound like the excuses kids give for not doing their homework. Come on, there should be 30k of fans who want to go to the stadium and family stuff doesn't affect all fans.

The main benefit of watching on sky is that you can switch it off at the moment. To lose at home... To LEEDS!

I can't see any excuse for that.

Was saying to my brother at half time that Leeds have been in a worse position than us over the last 10 years or so,but their fans have stuck with them. They have been more shit than we have but they still support their team. Our fans have had it good for the last 10 years but as soon as we struggle they jump ship like f*cking lemmings. And don't start bringing up the REBRAND, ok they haven't changed colours but they have had and still have a crazy owner. Get off your arses and support the club!

30k fans? Who do you think we are? We have not got that sort of fanbase, never have

Pathetic support we deserve to go down.

Just goes to show that all those free tickets given away at the end of last season were a complete waste of time.

I wonder how many of those freeloaders who got in for nothing last season have been to a match since - virtually none of them I would guess.

Free tickets, low season prices, entertainment - all bollocks.

If you want to get the fans back start playing attractive, winning football.

To do that, you need an experienced Championship manager who has the respect of the players and who can kick their arses when he needs to.

Not difficult Vinny - I'll even waive my consultancy fee for that piece of advice.

If someone gave me free tickets to the cinema then the film and viewing experience were shit I wouldn't go back.

That's what happened.

'Do you fancy going to watch Cardiff again?'
'Do I have to pay?'
'Yes'
'No ta'

I don't know where to start with this and, to be honest, can't be bothered anyway.

I'm guessing you're either 15 years old or have just had your first drink.

All the best for your future fella

I'm guessing you are only 15 years old because if you were older you'd realise we have been in much worse divisions than this. Last ten years have been our most successful for decades.

No I'm 62 and have been supporting City since 1962. I rest my case and will not over react to claims I am only 15 or just had my first drink. I stick by my comment that Leeds fall from grace is far bigger than us,but still have fantastic support even though I think they are a horrible club,a bit childish with the 15 year old comment. By the way how old are you?

Re: " TODAYS CARDIFF CITY CROWD SAD TO SEE "

Also I know that City have been much worse than this I was just trying to point out that Leeds have suffered more in the last 10 years or so but it hasn't affected their support. Hope that clarifies my point.

As you are a long time fan, you should know more than most that our current support is about average for this club. Even when the likes of Toshack and Clarke were knocking them in and we were towards the top of this division, the gates were anything between 18k and 25k. When we have struggled in this division, 10k to 12k has been about average. We attracted fans with special offers and during a time when we were having good cup runs and getting into play offs, but those years have been the exception and now things are back to normal.
