Great news for me Today

On the 24/12/15 i found out i had Cancer of the Colon , happy xmas to me. Then on the 1/1/16 i had emergency operation for Cancer of the Colon was gutted i had to miss a few games after that.

Today i had to go to Velindre hospital for results on CT scan i had after 6 months of chemotheraphy i am clear.
Was punching the air as i left hospital so happy.

Hope you guys dont mind me posting this on footy site as i cant stop smiling .Onwards and Upwards has been my motto through all of the bad times in the last year.Now i need to get fit as i havent been very mobile the weight has piled on.
I did manage to walk 5k from Penarth side of barrage to city centre on Sunday with about 20 family friends for Macmillan was knackered near the end.
If anyone thinks they have anything wrong please go see a doctor better to get it checked out than to suffer like i did.
Life is to precious to waste.

Well done mate,nice to here someone else with good news. My wife was diagnosed with bowel cancer in May and she was given all clear last week.puts into perspective how life can change. Good luck for future.

Superb.news mate , I know exactly what you went through , going through it at present chemo not the nicest but hey - Ho part of the treatment , glad you smashed it . Go and celebrate with the family , it's not only the patient that the big c effects but the whole friends and family .
