Well, that was fairly comfortable.

The Bluebirds never really got into the high gears but still looked impressive.

Whittingham was anchoring the midfield, distributing fantastically.

The wing-backs were effective and Gounongbe took his chance well.

Not too much to complain about there :thumbright: :thumbright:

Half Time: Osnabruck 0-1 Cardiff City

Striker Frederic Gounongbe scored :ayatollah:

30-minute periods, don’t forget!

Cardiff City in control here but not really in top gear.

Cardiff City's pre-season tour Continues :bluebird:

Cardiff City are stepping up their pre-season preparations as they play in the Osnabruck tournament this afternoon.

Their summer tour of Germany will now see them play two 60-minute matches against VFL Osnabruck and FC St Pauli as new boss Paul Trollope runs the rule over his side.

It is expected that the Bluebirds will field two entirely different sides for each game with the result being less important than the workout and the performance.

You can follow all the updates

Bluebirds in the house!

Cardiff City have arrived.

Sounds like the pitch is in better shape than it was earlier in the week.

If you’ve been cut off for the last week, the Bluebirds saw their pre-season plans thrown into chaos as they turned up to face Ahlen, only to find that the pitch was simply unplayable.

There were divots and holes all over the surface and the Welsh side were, justifiably, not prepared to risk it.

So they raced back to the Bluebirds’ training base and managed to fit in a 45-minute workout.

Doesn’t look like we’ll have a similar problem today..

Re: ' CARDIFF CITY TODAY '

That's not 3 5 2, or 5 3 2

Looks more like 3 4 2 1, or 3 4 1 2,

Re: ' CARDIFF CITY TODAY '

Sat Jul 23, 2016 1:35 pm

Could be a 3-5-1-1 turning into a 5-3-1-1
More likely a 3-2-3-1-1
Or a 5-4-3-2-1 ..... Oh that's too many
