SWANS SWOOP

Swansea are considering a swoop for Atalanta midfielder Luca Cigarini, say reports in Italy.

The Swans have had recent dealings with the Serie A side in the sale of Alberto Paloschi, and it is believed they could now be back in tough over a purchase rather than a sale.

The 30-year-old is said to be attracting a lot of attention in his homeland, report the South Wales Evening Post, with Fiorentina and Genoa also interested.

GILKS IN GLASGOW

Out-of-contract Burnley goalkeeper Matt Gilks is in Glasgow ahead of a proposed move to Rangers.

The ex-Blackpool stopper made just two appearances for Sean Dyche’s side after arriving at Turf Moor, both in the Capital One Cup.

Now, according to various reports in England and Scotland, the 34-year-old is set to join Rangers following Cammy Bell’s departure to Dundee United.

Gilks is a Scotland international, and the move would see him head north of the border for the first time at club level.

SNEIJDER TO EVERTON?

In what would surely be one of the most surprising transfers of the summer, reports in Turkey claim Everton have met Wesley Sneijder’s €7.5million (£5.7m) release clause.

The 32-year-old Galatasaray man could be Ronald Koeman’s first signing as Toffees boss, according to newspaper SonDakika.

Dutch international Sneijder has been in Turkey since 2013, previously playing for Ajax, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Southampton forward Sadio Mane, according to The Sun.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is determined to boost his strikeforce this summer and has targeted a move for Mane.

And he is determined to completed a £25m deal for the 24-year-old, who has also been linked to Manchester United

WILLIAN TO SNUB JOSE MOURINHO

Willian is set to snub Jose Mourinho and Manchester United to sign a new deal at Chelsea, according to The Sun.

The paper write that the finer details of the contract are still being agreed, but the Brazilian is keen to stay and will sign an extra four years at Stamford Bridge.

His current contract runs for a further two years, but Chelsea are keen to tie him down to a longer deal after his impressive performances since joining from FC Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013.

Fans With Tickets (Voucher holders)

All individuals who have purchased “Follow My Team” tickets or single tickets for any match beyond the Group Stages have already received vouchers. These vouchers are to be exchanged at the Voucher Exchange Point (VEP) in the Host City where the knock out match is taking place.

The Irish FA will have no input into this process and all queries should be directed to UEFA, the UEFA website and UEFA staff at the VEP.

Procedure:

UEFA will email each voucher-holding fan following qualification to the next round and provide full instructions as to where and when vouchers can be exchanged for tickets, and what the customer needs to provide – proof of ID & the Voucher which they currently hold.
Only the customer in person named on the ticket application can exchange the vouchers
UEFA staff will handle all aspects of the voucher exchange.
Fans must exchange their voucher for a valid ticket before gaining access to the stadium.
The Lyon and Paris VEP locations are outlined below.
ADVICE: The Irish FA advise all fans to exchange vouchers on Match Day minus 2 or Match Day minus 1. The VEP will be hugely busy! If you leave it to match day you risk missing part or all of the match due to the huge numbers of fans exchanging vouchers – especially in Lyon where the VEP is 17km away from the stadium. Please allow sufficient time to ensure voucher exchange and travel to the match!

Fans Without Tickets

Fans will be able to purchase tickets for the knock-out stages directly from the UEFA Ticket portal on a first-come first-served basis.

The Irish FA will have no input into this process (no priority system will apply) and all queries should be directed to UEFA and the UEFA website.

It is expected that these will go on sale at 11am GMT (12pm CET) tomorrow morning (23rd June).

Procedure:

Tickets for the knock-out phases will be available for purchase subject to availability.
All tickets will be sold via the official Euro2016.com website
Fans will be able to buy tickets for the next round only after Northern Ireland qualify
Tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis
Fans will get email confirmation following purchase and will need to bring this with ID to the Ticket Collection Point in the Host City for the relevant match for collection of tickets.

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs is interested in managing in the Championship having been linked to the vacant Forest job, according to the Daily Mail.

Reports suggest that he is keen to take on a managerial role and end his 29-year association with Manchester United to manage Forest, but according to reports Steve Evans is the favourite for the job.

No Championship side has made an approach for Giggs, who will be replaced Rui Faria at United as Mourinho’s assistant.

If Giggs does not go to Nottingham Forest he may have to look abroad, as moves to Oldham and Southampton are unlikely.

Giggs served as assistant to Louis Van Gaal and David Moyes and fans have suggested that he should be manager as he knows the club better than most, but the arrival of Mourinho has pushed him towards the exit door.

Giggs has a year on his contract at Old Trafford and senior officials haven’t given up on retaining him and want him to work with the youngsters, but they do feel this is unlikely with Giggs keen on a managerial job which Forest may provide him with.
