PELLEGRINI SET FOR SAINTS RETURN
Manuel Pellegrini has been linked with the vacant managerial job at Southampton.
The Chilean left Manchester City at the end of the season after the club decided to appoint Pep Guardiola.
He could now be set to replace Ronald Koeman, according to the Telegraph, who today was unveiled as the new boss at Everton.

REAL YOUNGSTER SET FOR LOAN MOVE
Real Madrid are poised to send teenager Martin Odegaard out on-loan next season.
The 17-year-old has not impressed as many would have hoped since his move to the Bernabeu in 2015 and it is thought a move to a new club will improve his game.
Real manager Zinedine Zidane will meet president Florentino Perez this week to discuss transfers and Odegaard's future is said to be on the agenda, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

LIVERPOOL TARGET PRICED AT £24M
Liverpool must pay £24m if they want to sign midfielder Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Spanish giants are looking to sell rather than loan out the 22-year-old who has struggled to nail down a regular first-team spot.
He has only made eight starts since signing for Real Madrid last summer and Jurgen Klopp is keen to help him play further football next season.

NAPOLI MAKE OFFER FOR MAN UTD TARGET
Napoli have made a £7.8m offer for Manchester United target Fabinho.
The Monaco right-back has attracted interest from a host of top clubs around Europe but Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is the first to act, according to the Express.
“Yes, we are interested in Fabinho," De Laurentiis said. "I offered €10m (£7.8m) to Monaco in order to start negotiations."

SKY SOURCES: SOUTHAMPTON RULE OUT GARCIA
Rudi Garcia is no longer a candidate for the vacant Southampton manager's job, according to Sky Sources.
Ex-Lille and Roma manager Garcia emerged as the favourite to replace Ronald Koeman, who was officially unveiled as the new Everton manager today.
The 52-year-old spoke to Saints but the club do not feel he would be the best fit at this stage.
Former Monaco and Lyon manager Claude Puel, ex-Ajax boss Frank de Boer and Fenerbahce coach Vitor Pereira have all emerged as potential targets, with Southampton keen to get a manager in place before the players return for pre-season.

ARSENAL ENTER RACE FOR FULHAM STRIKER
Arsenal are set to enter the race to sign Fulham striker Moussa Dembele whether Jamie Vardy signs for the Gunners or not.
Arsene Wenger is in the hunt for new firepower and will rival Tottenham and Chelsea for the 19-year-old's signature, according to ESPN.
The Arsenal boss has already activated Jamie Vardy's release clause this summer but is waiting to see if the England international will swap Leicester for the Emirates.

STOKES 'DELIGHTED' OVER ROVERS DEAL
Anthony Stokes admits he is 'delighted' to have completed his free transfer to Blackburn Rovers.
The 27-year-old frontman joins on a three-year deal from Celtic and is new manager Owen Coyle's first signing at Ewood Park.
“I’m delighted,” Stokes told the club's website.
“I had a good chat with the gaffer during the week and was very impressed with him. He had only positive things to say about me.
"I’m just looking forward to bedding in, getting a good pre-season under my belt and just looking forward to the start of the season.
“But I have to say, I’m really looking forward to it.”

CATTERMOLE DEAL UNLIKELY
Middlesbrough's £5m deal to sign Sunderland's Lee Cattermole is unlikely to happen, according to the Sunderland Echo.
Reports today indicated that Boro are readying a bid for Cattermole, who has another five years to run on his Sunderland contract after penning a new deal last summer.
Cattermole played at the Riverside for three years from 2005 before joining Wigan and then moving on to the Stadium of Light.

RANGERS TO SIGN LIVERPOOL STRIKER
Sky Bet have made Rangers the favourites to sign Liverpool striker Danny Ings on-loan.
Mark Warburton is looking for reinforcements and wants to capitalise on Ings uncertain future amid speculation that Liverpool could allow the 23-year-old to go out on-loan for a season.
The England U21 international is likely to start next season behind Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge in the striker pecking order and could also be behind Christian Benteke if the former Aston Villa man remains at Anfield.
Ings has also been linked with a move to Rangers’ Old-Firm rivals Celtic and the possibility of reuniting with former manager Brendan Rodgers.

DRAXLER TO UNITED?
The top football stories from Saturday's newspapers, as Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho targets Wolfsburg star Julian Draxler.
Mourinho made his first signing in Eric Bailly and then handed Michael Carrick a new contract. Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to drop hints that he will be on his way to Old Trafford this summer and now Draxler is a reported target, according to a number of Saturday's papers.

CHELSEA CHASE BENTEKE
Chelsea are keen on signing Christian Benteke from Liverpool, according to the Times.
Incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has identified Belgian striker Benteke as a potential strike partner for Diego Costa.
Benteke, who cost £32.5million last summer, fell down the striking pecking order at Anfield last season with Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi ahead of the former Aston Villa forward.

LEICESTER EYE LEMINA
Premier League champions Leicester City are turning up their attention to Juventus' Gabonese central midfielder Mario Lemina.
Lemina initially joined the Bianconeri on a season-long loan in August from Marseille, but has since penned a permanent deal with the Serie A club.
But now the Foxes are keen on taking him to the King Power Stadium on a loan deal, according to reports in Italy.

Leicester's vice-chairman believes the club will keep Jamie Vardy, despite the striker being linked with a £20m move to Arsenal.
Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha says England international Vardy is likely to stay with the Foxes.
After an impressive season which saw him score 24 goals for the surprise Premier League title winners, Vardy has emerged as a transfer target for Arsene Wenger's Gunners.

SWANS IN FOR PEREYRA
Swanseaare set to make a 15 million euros offer to Juventus to sign Roberto Pereyra, according to Calciomercato.com.
The Bianconeri are reportedly asking no less than 18 millions euros, although head coach Francesco Guidolin is thought to be keen on bringing Pereira to the Liberty Stadium having helped him launch his career at Udinese.
Reports in Italy are also linking Swansea with forward Simone Zaza, despite facing stiff competition from fellow Premier League clubs Everton and West Ham.

ATLETICO'S BIG MONEY OFFER FOR HIGUAIN

CELTA SIGN NARANJO
Aston Villa and Newcastle United target Jose Naranjo has opted to decline a move to the Championship and sign for La Liga outfit Celta Vigo instead.
