HAMMERS PREPARE NEW BID
West Ham are ready to step up their interest in Matt Ritchie by making a second bid to sign the Bournemouth star, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Slaven Bilic has already seen a £25million attempt to lure midfielder Ritchie and forward Callum Wilson away from the south coast rejected by opposite number Eddie Howe.
Now the Irons gaffer might test the water again with an £8m offer on Ritchie, a figure the Telegraph claims could rise to £10m based on appearances, although the Cherries remain determined to keep hold of the 26-year-old.

FREED Celtic star Anthony Stokes has agreed to join Blackburn Rovers.

Anthony Stokes has agreed a three-year deal to join Blackburn Rovers
Express Sport has learned that the Ireland international agreed a three-year deal with the Owen Coyle’s club yesterday.
The 27-year-old is expected in Lancashire tomorrow for his medical and to complete his move.
Stokes was also wanted by QPR and his former Hibs boss Alan Stubbs at Rotherham but he wasn’t able to match the finances or length of contract from their Championship rivals.

FLETCHER IN DEMAND
Wolves have become the latest Championship club linked with Manchester United striker Ashley Fletcher, according to the Daily Star.
The 20-year-old is currently considering a new deal from the Red Devils having enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Barnsley last season.
Fletcher scored nine times as the Tykes secured promotion via the League One play-offs and the Yorkshire side are keen on bring him back to Oakwell.
However, they face competition from Leeds United and Wolves, although any move might well be a loan after Fletcher told the Manchester United website this week his dream is still to make the grade at Old Trafford.
He said: "Hopefully, when I go back I’ll get my chance in the future. That’s the ultimate goal – playing for Manchester United."

FOREST ROLE FOR PEREIRA
Nottingham Forest have named Pedro Pereira as director of football ahead of the appointment of a new head coach.
Pereira spent 13 years working for Portuguese First Division club Sporting Braga, who reached the Champions League twice during his time there, and was most recently sporting director for Serie A side Fiorentina.
Part of Pereira's background is in scouting and development and he is looking forward to the challenge a move to England brings.
He told the club's website: "It is a big honour and at the same time a great challenge to work with such a historic and important club as Nottingham Forest and I want to sincerely thank the chairman for offering this opportunity to me."

SWANS FORWARD HEADING HOME
Swansea striker Alberto Paloschi looks set to head back to Italy by sealing a move to Atalanta, reports the South Wales Evening Post.
Paloschi only joined the Swans from Chievo in an £8million January switch, scoring twice in 10 appearances for the Welsh side.
But it appears his stay in the Premier League is set to be a short one, with the Swans willing to take £5m up front from Atalanta and an additional one million later on, meaning a £2m overall loss on the player.

UNITED MONITOR DRAXLER
Manchester United are monitoring Wolfsburg's Germany international midfielder Julian Draxler, according to German publication Bild.
Draxler, who is on Euro 2016 duty with Germany, joined Wolfsburg last summer but the report suggests he is open to leaving the Wolkswagen Arena, despite his five-year deal with the club.
And that has reportedly alerted new United boss Mourinho, who is thought to be keen on strengthening the wide options in his squad.

Middlesbrough want to re-sign their former midfielder Lee Cattermole from Sunderland, reports The Daily Mail.
Cattermole started his career at Boro and boss Aitor Karanka is keen to bring him back to the Riverside for his Premier League knowhow.
The 28-year-old could cost newly promoted Middlesbrough £5m.

‘RANGERS WILL GAIN A LEADER’
Rangers will be gaining a "leader" if they complete a deal to sign defender Clint Hill, according to his former QPR manager Harry Redknapp.
The 37-year-old is closing in on a move to Ibrox and will undergo a medical on Friday after agreeing a 12-month deal with the Gers.
"He's in absolutely great shape," Redknapp told STV. "He trains well, looks after himself and he's a family man. I couldn't speak highly enough of him.
"[Rangers would be] getting a good player, a character, a leader who wants to win. He's fit as a fiddle and doesn't carry an ounce of excess weight on him. He's a good lad, a tough lad with a good left foot who loves a tackle.
"He's a very good player who would be an excellent signing on a free transfer."

SWANSEA & WATFORD CHASE JUVE STAR
Both Swansea and Watford are reportedly tracking Juventus midfielder Roberto Pereyra, according to reports in Italy.
According to Gazzatta dello Sport, Juve will not allow the Argentina international to leave for less than €18m.
Pereyra, who has also been linked with West Ham, is expected to have his future resolved in the next few weeks.

CHELSEA TO TARGET JUAN JESUS
Inter Milan defender Juan Jesus is a potential transfer target for Chelsea, according to Mediaset.
The 25-year-old is rumoured to be heading for the exit at the San Siro and it is thought the Blues are considering the Brazilian as an alternative to Roma defender Antonio Rudiger.

NEW LEEDS DEAL FOR PHILLIPS
Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is expected to sign a new three-year contract with the club in the next few days, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The 20-year-old came through the academy system and broke into the first team under former head coach Neil Redfearn and clocked up 12 appearances during the latter half of the last season.
His current contract with the club is set to expire at the end of next season, but the youngster is one of the players new manager Gary Monk is keen to keep at the club.

BESIKTAS DENY BALOTELLI LINK
Besiktas have denied they are interested in signing Mario Balotelli from Liverpool.
The Italian, who spent last season on loan at AC Milan, does not appear to have any future at Liverpool with boss Jurgen Klopp expected to offload him this summer.
Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola, was quoted saying Besiktas were close to signing the 25-year-old but the club's sporting director Erdal Torunogullari has rejected the notion.
"We know Raiola well," Torunogullari told the Mirror. "He's even said Balotelli will go to Besiktas, but it's not like that.
"We're not interested, our priority is to hold on to Mario Gomez."
